It would make more sense and be easier if the forum messages were sorted descending by date. It gets annoying to have to scroll down to the bottom of every message thread to get the latest posts. Just a thought...agree? disagree? comments?
thanks

That's why you can "scroll to newest posts." This version doesn't span pages to do it, but the newer version (now showing on GTTP) does, and will eventually find its way here.

Look outside, I know that you'll recognize it's summertime. - The Flaming Lips "It's Summertime (throbbing orange pallbearers)"
It would not make sense to read a persons responce to a post that you have not read yet.
Chris, when you're done reading the forums for a session, click "mark all posts read" from the main forum page.

It might be easier in some cases, but I like the ascending order. It makes people at least read some of the posts before throwing their two cents in. Otherwise I think there would be a lot of off-topic posts in response to one particular recent comment when the poster has no idea what the comment was about or why it's there. That's a small problem as it is (mostly people just ranting without caring to read the rest of the posts, and it's plenty obvious when that happens) and I think it would get much bigger if people didn't even have to scroll down to see the newer posts.
Just a thought...
