Forum Clock off?

I was looking at the news posts and see erratic dates and times there. The post seem to be from yesterday but I know they're new. Is your CPU clocks off on your server?

Long time known bug in the news section. No one ever notices unless there's a really popular news item.

So the answer to that one is "tough."

It makes it difficult to find the last post you read in a longer thread if the time and date are off or worse yet, keep changing. I suppose everyone could start memorizing the order of posts.

No, I didn't say tough, I said it wasn't going to get fixed. Don't put tone where there isn't one.

There are a lot of things broken in a very fragile code base. I can spend time chasing stuff like that down or put the energy toward a new site that I can easily maintain going forward. That's a pretty easy decision for me.
