does timberhawk have steel supports?

Turbo - no, but the new-in-2004 S&S at Clementon [Sunami] does, as does the only woodie at Cyrpess Garden's sister park, Cheetah at Wild Adventures.

Turbo....Timberhawk is all wood.

My initial *guess* is that the kiddie woodie will be all wood, I'd imagine there's really no cost savings from steel until you get to a decent height...the *adult woodie*, that's still up in the air, AFAIK...

You still have Zoidberg.... You ALL have Zoidberg! (V) (;,,;) (V)

So where did RCDB get its information? First Drop?Acccording to it (RCDB) both woodies are S&S and it appears that the 2005 woodie is an adult woodie. :-)

There is no savings from building with steel period until you get into the long term maintence issues. Steel supported CCI's were generally about 30% more in cost.

I am not happy that the two steel coasters are going to be Clones of coasters at Wild Adventures . Supposedly the idea behind putting in coasters is to get a younger crowd into the park But if the coasters are the same anybody north of the park will be better off going to wild adventures. If you want people to go to both parks you need different coasters in them.that said i will probably go when they get the full size woodie.

Thanks Chuck....did not know what the associated costs were...I know I like the LOOK of the wood better...;)

Of course, with CCI's the prices were SO low that even a 30% price increase was still a ridiculous bargain...;)

kevin - WE know the woodies would be similar but most of the GP wouldn't know or care. Let's not worry about any of this until we know for sure.
