Flashback, Sky Tower, Freefall to reopen BY Springtime

Dang, you guys beat me. I just got back home from Magic Mountain and I'm still in shock that Riddler was running 3 trains all day. Also for those who haven't been in a while, the park is really clean. There were no cigarette butts anywhere in sight (that I saw), bathrooms actually smelled quite nice, and they've removed a lot of the trash from under gold rusher near the log flume ride. This park is really turning around. With the characters out, the atmosphere was really nice. I just hope the trend continue for a long time. Very good!

I agree with the whole scrap flashback, even though I've never ridden it, that video and what I've heard about it is enough to turn me against it (if I can). However, I think that colossus should be fixed up for both tracks to run again. Or, add on to Ninja (the best coaster there, aside from being too short). But since we know that will never happen... oh well. And, Mr. Shapiro, it would be most wise to get rid of Psyclone. Anyone else agree with me? It's too painful to let anyone else ride it. By the way, this is my first post, and I'm very happy to be apart of this community.

Just get comfortable trains for Psyclone. The B&M trains beat the crap out of you. I think thwy designed them with one of their coasters in mind, not someone else's woodie. :)

To keep things fresh and newish, I think they are going to start adding plenty of scenary and landscaping to make the parks really Amusement parks and less " Six Flags over Parking Lot".

Colosus and psyclone are both garbage, they should both get destroyed and replaced with something that wont need to be edited as severly as they have.

For as long as I've been in Southern California, I've never been in the sky tower, I'm really excited about the chance and slightly scared at the same time.

That brings back memories. "whoahhhh! owe owe! whoahhh!! owe owe damnit it owe! %&^%&%&^!! owe owe!

Could they put a short Incredible Hulk style B&M train on the flash back? That might make it much better.
How would that fix anything though? Really the track bending seems to be the main problem. The Hulk *tends* to be smooth ;) because of a lot more than the trains.
This is great news.

The complaint department is going to have to do a little downsizing. ;)

...only if they actually follow through with the promises this time ;)

I'm keeping an optimistic attitude, and hoping it'll even be open by Solace! :)

Three trains on Riddler's?!

Consider me impressed.

They might be making that $15 for parking worth our while. ;) I'll pay for a good product, and that is indication they're headed in the right direction!

Any word on Superman: The Escape? Is this on the list of rides to be reopened?? The one and only time I was at SFMM they tested it a few times during the day, but never opened it. From what I was told, that was the norm- a few test runs every day.
Superman was open. I don't really like it that much so I didn't waste my time running up there to ride it but I could see people riding it. Only the right side was going as usual.

Yeah, when I was there solace weekend last year, it seemed to be running most (if not all) of the day. I got my credit on it.

It sounds like a jet taking off when it launches, though, so it's pretty hard to miss :)

Three trains on Riddler's is impressive, but three trains without stacking would be even more impressive. How was the crew doing?
No stacking whatsoever... I was shocked.
That's awesome! Having worked on the Raptor I realize how hard it is to hit interval with loose articles, glasses, people not knowing where they want to sit, etc. I know Six Flags tends to let people carry whatever they want on their rides and in my experience on RR they didn't really check how I was standing(like they do at CP); however, it is still amazing they didn't stack on RR. Kudos to SF for motivating the RR crew, and hopefully their other crews.

Now if they can just lose the OTSRs on Revolution...

LOL... If they removed the OTSR from Revolution I would seriously lose it. I know Shapiro isn't much of a coaster guy, but I hope he takes a ride on Revolution and realizes what a torture chamber it's become. I also hope the park can finally up it's flatride and darkride collection.

I'm also hearing "brand new tram" rumors, complete with WB characters riding along with the guests up to the gate. lol

While we're talking about improvements at SFMM, pioneer of the parking lot coaster, could we all for a moment take a look at a recent development on Tatsu?

Look here.

Yes, you saw that right, a giant concrete square is being covered in attractive stonework so it's not as much of an eyesore. At a Six Flags park, and at Magic Mountain no less.

Somebody call Satan, he's probably cold ;) .

This is great news! I'm glad SFMM is improving so much!! I need to get out there again.....
Sounds like it would be worth making a trip out to MM after all! If this is going on at all of the parks, then I may have a good first impression of Six Flags when I go to SFA/SFGAdv in April. I think I may even not be so bitter about paying $15 at each park if the quality is going to be as high as it sounds so far.

25 Parks..............
123 Coasters........
....and still going!
