First Trip to Great America

I agree about seat 1:3 on Viper being the best in the park. Oh the AIRTIME!! My God, the Airtime!!

Just call me MPG...

I'm pretty sure I've tried 1.3 on Viper before and wasn't impressed (I always try 1.3 / 1.2 on coasters). I still stand by the last seat (sometimes literally) ;) I'll have to try 1.3 on Viper again this season and find out for sure.

What does definitely rock, is seat 1.3 on the Morgan Hypers !!

I agree with Joe, I thought 1:3 gave an OK ride. My vote is for the back.

For some reason, I think Viper benefits more than any other coaster at SFGAM from "the dark". Hit it then.

Elevated!, I'd agree that your decision will probably be between Deja Vu and Raging Bull; both are near the back of the park, where lines are usually shorter early in the day. I've only ridden RB (DV wasn't open on my last trip), but I definitely recommend RB; it's a great ride. I, too, will say that if, when you get to it, DV has even a relatively short line, do it.

Oh, and this doesn't have much to do with your post, but my sig is what I said on my first ride on RB, at the top of the lift hill (the scream was down the drop, of course). RB was also my first coaster ever.

I've tried seat 1.3 on Viper as well and found it rather dull. the back seat gave me much more air and I liked the visuals of the rest of the train snaking around the course.

I suggest you try Shockwave, because contrary to popular belief, it's a decent coaster. Just ride the back row, as already stated. You won't be dissapointed. I still can't see why everyone bashes this ride.

When you ride Iron Wolf, Ride it in the front! I can't stress that enough. The ride is incredibly forceful from Row 1, and that one ride knocked Wolfie back into my top 10.

Hit Bull in the back, You'll get major ejector air on the drops.

I prefer riding Deja Vu in Row 1A/B. That way the air on the second spike is just that much sweeter.

When you ride Demon, try the back, as already said. You'll get a nice pop of airtime on the drop, and a relativley smooth ride.

Batman feels more intense in the front, it has the same effect as wolf in the front. If you don't feel like waiting, hit row 8.

Viper and Eagle both give a great ride in any row, but if you want ejector air on Viper, do the back.

Only go on Whizzer if you're on a date, or if you like classic rides. If not, it won't do much for you.

Don't miss out on SFGAm's collection of flats. It's a decent bunch.

Well, those are my opinions, not much aside from the standard back row/front row deal. Have fun.
