First time you went to Six Flags Magic Mountain?

1973 or 1974. The major rides were the Mountain Express (a Wildcat-type ride), the Gold Rusher, and the two log rides. (Today I can't believe that I travelled 2500 miles from Hawaii for those rides.) The first really big ride was the Revolution in 1976, and then came Colossus. This was all before MM was a Six Flags park.

Dayuum, Your HOT!
My first time ever out to California was during Christmas break to see my brother in the Marines. I went to Magic Mountian towards the end of December. Let's see 2 hour wait for Goliath 1 time, 2 hour 30 minute wait for Viper, 1 hour wait for Batman, 2 hours & 30 minute wait for Rittlers Revenge, 45 minute wait for Superman: The Escape. When I wen't out to Magic Mountian in December they only had one train on most coasters going! I won't be back to Magic Mountian for a while. Cedar Point#1, Millennium Force #1.

I came all the way from Chicago to find Goliath was closed because the woman died on it. I was so mad. They know it was an anerisim not caused by the ride.
About 5 years ago; I've been going every year since then. Plus now I have a season pass.
Poor me, living here in western ny, have never been to california, let alone sfmm or any californian park. :(

"who needs drugs when you have coasters...they're like a natural high"
Sometime in the 80's, I don't remember what year. I went to the park when I stayed with family in Bakersfield. I remember my first time riding Shockwave and being scared to death because I was standing. I'd only been to Disneyland and PGA back then, so it was definately a new experience. I also remember going when Ninja first opened, I thought it was the greatest coaster ever built, a coaster that runs UNDER THE TRACK!?! WOW! ;) It's still one of my favorites at the park. :)
