The view entering most any park. I love the light show at night on Millennium's lift hill.

CP causeway, I generally only get 1 trip to CP a year, so the view is something I've never tired of (not that I think I could ever get sick of it). It kicked butt back before MF, can't wait to see it next year.

If you haven't seen CP yet with Millenium Force, then you must not go every year (even with generally in front of it)...

The veiw from the top of S:ROS at SFNE. I know from about 10:30 last night. It was amazing with the river and Springfeild in the distance. There is probably better but that was just an amazing moment.

I did go once a year from 1994 to 1999. This year I was able to go once and see and ride MF for the first time. I was just saying that the skyline for CP was impressive the first time I saw it in 1994. And it remains jaw dropping and with the new coaster for next year it will only get better.
Oh yea, at Kennywood, on a clear night, at the top of Pitt Fall, if your facing the right direction, you look closely...you can see the city of Pittsburgh way off in the distance...its quite amazing. Another view that I am most likely one of few from this forum to experience, is that on Put-In-Bay, a kind of tourist Island near Cedar Point. They have a 330 ft monument that you can go up(there is something historical about it, but I never listen to that stuff really), but it was a clear day, and from atop the monument, I could just barely see Millenium Force WAAAAAYYYY off in the distance...(I think its like 20 miles away from there) I took some pics, but it was so hard to see you couldnt even see it in the pictures....

Kennywood Park, America's finest traditional amusement park.

i have to say that when you come off the highway into Allentown and see Dorney Park in the ravine, its the best. Does anybody have a pic of this?

I think the best view is the one of the Vegas Strip from the top of Big Shot.

But, I'm also partial to the causeway view at CP...and the view from the front row of Millennium Force as you go over the top and the track seems to disappear.

Approaching SFStL from the East on the Interstate. The park looks like a surreal painting set among those hills and green trees and stuff.

Aaaahhhh...

du8die, I have to agree with the Six Flags St Louis view. It is even better at night and all the lights are on, now that is surreal. My other one is driving down towards Busch Gardens from over by USF and seeing Montu come into view... stunning...

Wanna Ride A Woodie?

I have to go with the CP causeway too. Every year my goup and I go up the day before we are heading to the park and as soon as we unpack we always drive up the causeway to see the beautiful park. Sends chills down my spine!

BTW Bob, Love the sig....what woodie are you talking about the Raging Wolf Bob?!

We have waited all through the years for the 6 jokers cards...Carnival of Carnage, the Ringmaster, the Riddlebox, the Great Milenko, the Amazing Jeckel Brothers and now the 6th and Final card...the Wraith. What will happen now?

CP Lady, you nailed one that I had forgot. Vegas from the Big Shot is great. Either day or night it's one of best rides around because of that view.

It IS an awesome view, but so many folks had their eyes closed...;) That sucker is TALL, and the observation level moves quite a bit when the coaster runs....even more when the Thrill Shot is launched!

bill, thinking the elevator in Stratosphere goes *about* as fast as CP's new coaster will....

Every time i drive trough the woods and suddenly see the entrance building of Efteling park. Being an architecturefreak aswell, it always takes my breath away.

Just a pitty i couldn't find pics of it at night. It's just enchanting to see the blue flickering lights woven trough the roofstructure and the wooden structure illuminated from within.

I've always liked walking into PKI and seeing the reflection pond and the eifel tower right in front of you. IoA has an awesome view wherever you are. It's amazing.
I would have loved to see the view from the WTC. That must have been great. :(

There is a new twist in the Top-Hat. :)

Uhhhhhh, Theme Parks Only. Big Shot, Depends on which side your on. Facing the strip at night is a must. But facing the outskirts of it isn't that spectaculat.

How can you go wrong with something like this?

Water + coasters + sunset = beautiful.

Not many people have been able to really take this view in for a long time, but I would have to say at SFEG the view from the Far Side of Sidewinder at night. Looking across the park, you can see Twister and Mile High Stadium right behind it, and all of the lights from the rides make it really neat. Am I right J.?
