Oh the good old days... when superheros were superheros and coasters were coasters...
Great Adventure....How do I love thee, let me count the ways....
Hey SFGA_FAN, you reading the threads from the beginning?

-------------
Imagine CB in 10 years time!
Just found a lot of great threads to talk about, instead of creating new ones just thought to add on to what was already stated.
I think it is kind of interesting to go back and look at what people said a year ago about certain things and compare them to now! :)

-------------
DÉJÀ VU – Fast Forward…Blast Backwards!
True. We're still in 'off-season' mode.
Homepark:PKI-Two of the top 10 woodies anywhere/ very short lines of weekdays/ no bad coasters/ extremely reridable coasters/ Two high class steel multi-loopers/ good people, atmosphere/ free waterpark

Favorite Non-HP:BGW-100% excellent coasters/ excellent food, atmosphere, capacity, service/ great shows, entertainment, non-coaster thrills

Honorable Mention:IOA over-the-top theming + BGW mentions, CP-A lot of coasters

Most Overrated:CP-A lot of coasters

PKI-Wooden, Helix, and Kiddie Coaster Capital of the World!
The First and Only Gigabuzzer bigger than Millie, rising Faster than Maggie, and pulls more BS than MS ever will!!!
Favorite Park- PKI, Very short lines everytime I go. Never wait more than an hour on a busy day. I just think Cedar Point is overrated. It was not alot of fun like I thought it would be. Actually BGW gets a vote before CP. I know my opinion is not the FAD in this thread, but it is my opinion. PKI has great coasters, and I do not believe Paramount did anything "bad" to any ride in that park. The employees are always friendly, and the kiddie area is the best I've seen. I give PKI two thumbs up for 30 years of great park management, and wonderful rides.

No matter what the thread, the CP bashers always seem to voice their opinion on CP, and why they dislike it. This thread is about parks you DO like, not the ones you think are over-rated. Good lord.

Home Park: SFGAm
Fav. Park: Cp or IOA (it's a tie folks!)

"God help us, our lives are in the hands of engineers..."
Whoa, weird staticman00. My home park is also SFGAm and IOA/CP are my two favs! Although, it's not a tie for me, I prefer IOA to CP by just a little bit.

"No listenin', you hear me?"
And the only ones that notice are the stuck up Pointers who won't accept others opinion, because they can't take the fact that not everyone agrees with them. And no one ever said bad. Just overrated. There's a big, thick line between the two I hope you know.
Favorite park by a landslide for me is Busch Gardens Williamsburg. The atmosphere is just amazing, the theming is on par with Disney, and while the ride lineup may be minimal compared to the big kids on the block, the rides they do have are genuine classics. Loch Ness Monster, Big Bad Wolf (best suspended I've ever done), Alpengeist, Apollo, and my favorite chutes ride- Escape from Pompeii. The park also has fantastic live shows, friendly staff, and very good food (but a bit pricey). BGW is well worth the 10 hour drive... and I can't wait to check out the new Ireland section on my upcoming June visit.

My favorite park, Cedar Point, hands down, beating WDW, BGW, Hershey, and a number of other very fine competitors. CP is just... perfect.
