FastLane

It sounds stupid, but to me that is the ideal day for FastLane. Yes there is a short regular line, but there is no line for FL. Your 25 minute Maverick line and 18 minute Valravn line would be 0 minutes with a FL. Does not get better than that to me.

What if we eliminated FastLane? Below is the required gate price to break even on revenue collected assuming various FLP attach rates. I have no clue what percentage of people are buying these passes, so I tried for a few numbers up to 35% of total guests. Would you rather have the new gate prices below, and better moving lines, or would you prefer the current system?

I suppose someone into marathoning rides would find that appealing, but from my personal perspective that would not be worth the $836 price tag for our family of 4.

I typically enjoy short-moderate queue waits, interacting with other guests, etc. Part of the fun.

Imagine the outrage If Disney and Universal dumped their fast pass systems??

It's been several years and there is still outrage in the Disney community that they charge for it now.

That was also my experience going to Disneyland before G+ was implemented. Incredicoaster with a full queue was about a 20 minute wait and Thunder Mountain was about the same. You literally didn't stop walking (slowly) through the line.
