Fastlane at SFGAm

Actually Coasterjedi the fastlane line for Raging Bull has been there ever since it opened for a re-entry line when the line is short.  They just converted it to a fastlane entrance.  I am not 100% certain on this but can someone back me up on this.

Hey Alf,

There is something wrong with your signature. I hate to break it to you, but your certification for those rides you have listed has expired. So, as of right now your not certified for any rides.

And for the rest of the people that don't like fastlane, well that is unfortunate.  If you whine that they don't have enough or you have to pay for them well that is just to bad.  Try going to a hotel, the more you pay the bigger and more ammenities you get. There is only a limited number of Jaccuzi suites and if your to late to get one well that is to bad. Kind of like fastlane once, they run out well then you should of planned differently if you wanted one.  If you just pay the standard price that is what you get.  You are more than welcome to wait in the line and nobody is stopping you from doing that, because you paid for that.  You have to grow up and learn in life what you pay for is what you get.  This world is money driven and the more you have the more you get. This is actually pathetic that you guys and gals sit here and whine about this.  Great America is providing an additional service to those that pay for it.  If I go to Universal I can PAY for a VIP tour of the park and guess what they let me to the front of the line. That is all I have to say about that.

One time forward, one time backward it's DÉJÀ VU!!

Alf and Coaster 895: that's why I thought it was going to be for also, but then they started using it as the Fastlane entrance so I figured they may have been planning on getting Fastlane since '99 or before.  btw, I've never seen that gate open for turn around.  the line's always been past that so I've never seen it used.

Okay Eagle OP
So then if I'm stayin in the 1/2 bed without HBO room I get what I pay for.  However, if someone pays more for the presidential suite, I'm not adversely affected in any way, it doesn't take anything away from my overall experience. Oh, and you're making a pretty crappy spokesperson for the park on this site btw.

No SFGam did not plan on fastlane since '99, to my knowledge. The RB turn-around gate has been used before for those lucky few who decide to wait out storms (after the park has already been cleared of those less dedicated guests who fear rain), especially when it rains near closing time, so most guests just leave. To my knowledge we had the gate open all of four or five times during the 2001 season (for re-rides, not for fast-lane).

Yes i said i like waiting in lines, that is part of the theme park experiance especially since it devides the strongest riders from the weaker ones. Plus lines are a great time to meet people, i have gotten girls phone numbers while waiting in line and met my 1st girlfriend there in 1998. And yes that was hile waiting in line for Giant Drop. ITS TRUE! ITS TRUE! (WHAT?) I SAID, OH ITS TRUE!

I may be from IL, but i sure can't get enough of the FORCE. MF!!!
Yeah IMFJ that may be true, but if you were a real playa, you'd be able to get a girl's phone number while *on* the ride :)

"You didnt say that". "Tell me you didnt just say that"
If you prefer waiting in long lines then that is your personal preference.   So if I prefer to hit a park on a non-peak weekday when most likely there is a less crowded park does that make me weak?

"The Peoples Elbow" or "The Spinaroonie?. Cant decide which is the most electrifying move in sports entertainment!!! LOL

IMFJ,

So are you the one that just stands in line and stares at your hand and nods up and down?

I say they should do what disney did, fastpass, it's free, anyone can use it, and no one gets mad about people getting infront of them because they could do it to for free. The main word I want Six Flags to know is the word FREE.

Go to my site all about SFGAm-- hometown.aol.com/bowlin781
Fastpass is a much better system than fastlane. Not only because it's free, but also because it's more logical. I've never experienced Lo-Q. I know about the "pager" type device. What I want to know is how does it compare to the Disney/Universal systems?

4. 2Hostyl: I *hate* that word and will not be partaking in that chant on Feb. 18.

Ill be there too, and if you hate that word im not sure if your going to want to go,  It never stopped last time I was there.  Anyhow about SFGAm keeping Fastlane over LO-Q I think thats a really bad Idea.  I know many times of when the Fastlane line was longer than the regular line.   The Fastlane system does not work its just a cheap way for Six Flags to make money.

what the costs are per pass and exactly how it works. Do you pay money and push your way to the front of the line?

Thanks...

The CoastaPlaya 100 begins 6/6/02...

I believe these coasters have Fastlane.

V2

Batman TR

Raging Bull

Iron Wolf

Whizzer

Deja-Vu is supposed to but I dont think has been implemented yet. (Probably because its never open. )

Last year it was $10.00 for a card and can be used for up to 4 rides (they punch up to 4 holes in the card).
