Extreme Rides adds aerial pictures of Nemesis Inferno

Posted | Contributed by coasterrich

Extreme Rides has been updated with a huge batch of Inferno pics showing off the completed steelwork, including a batch of pictures taken from the top of the tower ride and Colossus.

With a train on site, the lift hill motor and chain in place, all that is left is the wiring of the control systems before the ride can test.

Show me the photos!

Oh my Lord! I can't wait to get over there now. Look at that pic of the corkscrews! Look at the tightness of the final two turns....:) Oh my Lord!

Jeez! This thing looks great! Could B&M make a bad invert even if they wanted too?

Umm, excuse my ignorance, but what is exactly "rut-less" about this coaster? Sure, it has interlocking corks for the first time on an invert, but isnt that a signature so-to-speak of B&M loopers?. This looks a LOT like an inverted rendition of B:DK (subbing a low level turn for a dive loop).

That being said, I think that B&M can stay in their *rut* for a very long time. I *still* contend that they have never shat out a "bad" coaster. So a B&M "average" is JUST FINE with me :)

A LOT like an inverted rendition of B:DK?

uhm right...it looks more like B:TR but B:DK?

This might be a Nemesis-calibre coaster, folks. The layout looks great, and the coaster will also be themed, to some extent.

To me, several things about this ride are oddly different than other inverts. Look at that figure-eight. Look at the weird drop out of the station and long ride to the lift hill, and the elongated banked drop. Check out how low to the ground the zero-g roll is. Granted, there's nothing revolutionary here, but at least we're getting some creative variations. Talon (unridden by me) also is a good example that B&M can do it if they try.

DarkHelmet is right, if you think this coaster looks good now, Just wait until they have finished the themeing because if rumours are true, the themeing is gonna be very awesome indeed.
Of course this coaster is pure heaven for me, I live 1hr away from Thorpe Park so no dought my season pass will be getting a battering next year, ha ha :)
