Ever rode a coaster in a heavy rain?

I rode Mean Streak on May, 21 in a heavy rain, painful but fun, and the train flew. Also rode magnum in the rain, just sprinkling though, June 20, 2000
you think meanstreak is painful, try riding MILLENNIUM FORCE in a DOWNPOUR! It was the last ride of the night, and it was the most pleasurable pain I've ever felt...heheheh...

What was not fun was waiting for them to manually unload us one car at a time on the brakes IN the downpour. I don't understand why they couldn't cycle it around at the end of the night. maybe because the trains didn't weigh enough?
I rode B:TR at SFMM in the rain it felt weird.

Riddler's Revenge-Can You Stand It?
have you ever seen those costers where people can shot water guns at you?
One day a couple weeks ago, it rained all afternoon at SFGAm. This took everyone home and it was EMPTY. Batman was a walk-on. At night before closing, Bull was a walk-on! Anyway, at dinner time in the pouring rain, 45° temperatures and me soaking wet, I decide to ride Batman 20 times in a row. Wow was I cold and wet after that. Since Batman is inverted, the wheels flip the water backwards into your eyes and it hurts. That same night I rode Bull and it was raining kinda hard. I got a raindrop in my eyeball for one of my 7 rides in a row on Bull. I kinda ruined the ride because it hurt pretty bad. It was a fun day.

Bull rides:41
Batman rides:33
Batman Knight Flight at SFWOA is pretty painful in the rain. We rode once in the front seat and after that moved a row back. Wasn't as bad as the front, but still hurt.

Christ how do you kids do it
I was on the front seat of Magnum once in the pouring rain. Let's just say my face hurt while I was on the ride, and I couldn't keep my eyes open :). Also, I rode Mind Eraser at SFDL after it had been pouring, and there was a nice huge puddle of rain in the seat that I had to try and get rid of before I sat down. Luckily I was soaking wet already.
I rode Serial Thriller in the rain last year. IT is painful enough by itself, but add in the rain and you get one killer of a ride (not in a good way).

The Pens will win the Stanley Cup in 2002!
I rode the Whizzer, Raging Bull, and some painful others in Heavy rain.

And no1, do you mean the Super Saturater at Carowinds?

No, the Mean Streak at CP.
villian @ sfwoa. Ouch.
I rode V2 and Viper in pouring rain and I also rode Raging Bull and Shockwave in a light drizzle, but it still killed my face.
SOB (3 times), Vortex (5 times), Face/off (2 times), and Top Gun (10 times) in a heavy downpour in one day. Noone was there. I also walked onto Drop Zone.

With the recent weather in Cincinnati, you either are now experiencing cabin feaver, are adreline deprived, or are riding coasters in downpours

MF Drops-21
SOB Rides-2
I rode Son of Beast in a VERY heavy downpour last Wednesday night. It was like 100,000,000 nails in your face at nearly 80mph! But, hey the pain somehow, brought enormous fun! I was in the last train that went through the rainstorm. They temporaly closed SOB after our train got in.

I rode Top Gun @ PGA when it was HAILING...the weather was certainly weird that day because I showed up at the park only wearing shorts and a t-shirt! They actually closed the ride while we were waiting due to the weather. It was fun, but I couldn't feel my hands afterwards since I was sitting in the front and the wind numbed them.

I rode The Riddlers Revenge at Six Flags Magic Mountain last Augest. It was aroud 1:00 A.M.(Hallelujia Jubilee thing) and we could only go on one more ride so we chose that. It was the best time ever. All the hard rain hitting you going through the loops and corkscrews. I wanna go on Ghostrider when it's raining next.

-------------
Kraken is pronounced "Crack-En"
Shockwave at SFGAm, it was twice as painful (head bumping restraints and rain hitting face)
Yeah! The Vortex at King's Island in 1989, during the 10th anniversary party of the Beast! Believe it or not, I also rode the Beast in the SNOW that day! It rained all day, and snowed a little bit. The Vortex (if it ain't painful enuf!) was REALLY painful in pouring rain. But going down the Beast's first drop with snowflakes dropping... that was cool!

Ow! My lap bar IS down all the way.
I rode Batman the Ride at SFOG in a very heavy downpour... That lift hill was drenching and we were the last ride for 2 hours...

Georgia Scorcher...OH yeah it's fire baby!!!
