Ever Hated Airtime?

I have once and I think its plausable.  It was on the Racer at PKI and we were on the first drop.  I pushed my lap bar down so it was puting some painful pressure on my theighs.  As we kept going through the course, my legs kept on thrusting up against the already tight bar.  It was not fun.

Anything like this happen to you peeps?

Yeah a few years back on magnum as a joke one of the girls stepped on my lapbar.  It was very painful, to make matters worse I was sitting in 13!

On my first coaster bigger than Space Mountain, Ghostrider, I got completely freaked out by the airtime on the first drop.
It was the freakiest feeling the first time.
Now the lapbar is up a few and the seatbelt is...comfortable. ;)

Knotts 2002...ready when you are!

Sometimes air time makes me nervous like Im going to fall out.

Villain at SFWoA had some great airtime, but unfortunately, I wouldn't know.  My legs were deadlocked against the front of the car, so I couldn't get any airtime, and when I did move, my legs kept hitting this nut and bolt on the side....  Ouch....
Desperado was my first BIG coaster (meaning over 150') and I didn't want to ride in the front (because at one point I got major airtime) because I thought I would fall out.

on magnum, OUCH, that airtime hurts so much, everyone else likes it but me.  i guess im just one of those people who doesnt like to get beaten in the legs with a baseball bat...

I agree with you it was killing my legs everytime I hit the lap bar.

I have never hated a moment of air time that I can remember.

Where has the magic gone in the name Disney?

The first time I rode Magnum, I got a spitting headache in the valley after the first hill. The bunny hops were a wee bit painful :)

A bad day at Cedar Point is better than a good day at work.
On Magnum, I used to get hurt by the airtime, but that was because I pushed down on the lap bar. After power riding everytime I went to CP this year, I soon found out that keeping the lapbar as loose as possible makes for the best ride...most airtime, and no bruised legs.

Mayday - Memorial Day Weekend - Nonpoint, Nickelback, Oleander, Staind
Ozzfest - June 8 - Drowning Pool, Papa Roach, Linkin Park, Disturbed, Black Sabbath
Awake Tour- June 15 - Darwin's Waiting Room, Puddle of Mudd, Deftones, Godsmack

On psyclone the lap restraint was locked in too close to my thigh and it hurt, and whenever we came over a hill it would hurt and near the end I pulled a muscle as a result.  To add this women kicked my icee over which I paid 5 dollars for and failed to pick it up.  I think she was too busy picking the lint out of her belly button.  But, who knows?

The first time I ever had airtime (Blue Streak-CP), I was scared as hell...of course I was only 5 years old and the entire ride scared me.  But now I love all airtime.  The only airtime that I feel kind of uneasy with is airtime going into a headchopper.  I'm tall and it makes me nervous- of course I know I'm not going to die or anything.  My sister, on the other hand, does not like airtime becase she says she can't breathe when she's floating up out of her seat.  But airtime=good in my opinion!

Yet another coaster-craving yuppie
Last month on Roar at SFMW, I was in the back with my hands up, and It hurt going down that drop, it was so un injoyable.
I've never met airtime I didn't like.

The scariest was definately on Cyclops at Big Chiefs. That last big hill on their I was practically standing up in the last car. It was so scary that I had to do it again!!!

Still wondering why I didnt go to Cedar Point the last 20 years and making sure I don't miss it any of the next 20.

I agree with Monkeymaster and Coasterdude.Every year it hurts even more.Magtnum, ouch,i used to be small so it wouldnt hurt when i was like 7:)

And when i feel like im gonna fall out like on Big Dipper in the back seat ur standing up at the end of the ride on accident,i think the should do something about that,im gonna hurt next year.

For those complaining about magnum:

Sissies, all of you.  :)
