Ever been the only rider on a coaster?

Stopped in at Beech Bend a couple of weeks ago. I was the only person on each coaster when I rode the Looping Star and Flying Dragon. Last time I remember being the only person riding a coaster was the Monster Mouse at Fantasy Farm its last season. Just curious when and where other folks have found they had a coaster all to themselves.

Jill and I were the only riders on Dueling Dragons for awhile one day....after awhile, we decided the pain of rain at 60 mph was no longer worth it...but we DID get to stay on and ride through the station (where it was thankfully warmer). I also got to ride GASM-I with one other person, but that doesn't count...ERT. And then there was Canyon Blaster....:)
I've been the only person on Superman:UE on more than 1 occasion. It so Awesome.
Usually it is with a friend, but I have had several rides with only one other person (a friend or family member) on board. Roar and Mind Eraser at SFA, Hurler, Rebel Yell and Volcano at PKD.
Just last week as a matter-of-fact..at Cedar Point!

When I went up with out my coaster fiance. Something REALLY strange posessed me to head back towards Mean Streak right off the bat.I made it back there and there was already people wating at the rail road tracks. The ride started and the train gates when it up. People went running like mad and filled up the first train. As you know MS has 3 trains. So I hopped in the second one.

I ended up getting 4 rides on Mean Streak by myself! (4 rides on MS is like 4 rides on SOB...ouch) Then after that people started slowly coming towards the back of the park I think I had 3 rides on it with 5 or less people and ended up getting a total of 15 for the morning on it...so yes it is possible to marathon on a painful CP coaster :) I got some GREAT pics though ;)

Hmmmm... let me think....

On coasters that consist of more than a single car (in other words, no Wild Mice or Lakemont's Leap the Dips), the only times absolutely by myself was on Old Town's Windstorm and Waldameer's Ravine Flyer III.

In 2000 at Lakemont, my wife and I were alone on Skyliner. On one ride she sat in the first seat and I sat in the last and then for the next ride we switched. Neet photos taken in the last seat on those rides... you can see the whole train with a lone rider in the front seat.

Face it, call ourselves what we want, but to the parks we are all "GP".

I remember this year for twilight rides for SOB I was the only person on the train or like 4 rides in a row. I ended up getting around 12 rides in a row and 4 just me. It was awesome

I've gone on Dnia Beach Hurricane countless times empty. I've also done the Hulk by myself before while it was raining. Woody Woodpecker, because it's pretty much always empty. Kraken in the front seat lone first thing in the morning. Medusa Easte because it ad been down about half the day, and I was the only one there when it reopened. Roadrunner at Gadv, and Skull Mountain. Dopple Looping Star at the dade county fair. I've done some drop towers by myself, and countless flat rides. I've done a turbo force by myself and the slingshot at GAdv. Oh, and I also did Dudley DoRight Ripsaw Falls, and Jurrassic Park (which had to be the scariest alone out of all of these rides.) Oh, and Wildcat Coaster at the fair. I seem to get lucky, and always end up at a slow day for the parks. Oh, and also Scorpion at BGT.

I'm sitting shiva for CCI.

I have on SUE. When it broke down, everyone left except me. So I went to the front seat while they were waiting for maintance, so we all started to talk and have a great time, then it got fixed and they decided to test run it. Well they were so nice they let me be there guinnie pig :) I hoped on front seat and rode it. All alone. It was very awesome!

NITRO ~ The most EXPLOSIVE coaster on the planet!

Me and one other person have ridden Tidal Wave at PGA countless times with no one on the train. And That day it had a problem of stoping about a foot from where it should in the staion. So we had to get out and push the train until it clicked into place. It was great.

It's happened to me no less than three times this season on Thunderhawk at Dorney. Also ridden Talon a few times only 2 other riders.

At Dutch Wonderland me & my daughter got solo spins on both Joust and Sky Princess.

I got 12 rides on PrimalWhril at Animal Kingdom all by myself. I would have rode it more but it broke down in a Brake run and they had to use laders to get me off so it was a fair trade. I even go pictures of them getting me off.

On SFOG's Batman, I got a solo ride in the pouring rain (front seat right). All the people in the lot were like "Look at that guy!"

My two favorite coasters are named Superman.

I know this isn't a coaster, but I was the only one on Tower Of Terror at WDW for 7 rides right before closing. It was cool because my brother and I got to sit where ever we wanted and it was cool.

A few years ago, on a very slow, rainy day at Cedar Point, I got four repeat rides by myself on the Corkscrew. There was no one on the platform when the train returned after my first solo ride, so I asked if I could remain on. They agreed. I got three more rides before someone showed up in the station. I, of course, got off the train at that point since it's against CP policy to give rerides. :) I thanked the crew though and told them they made my day!
Blue Streak at CP in the front at night, one awesome ride running right by Raptor. It was a lot of fun and capped off a great day at CP.

Hi, I'm here to talk about coasters, if you are not, shut up and leave.

I went to a park in Colombia in January (Parque Nacional de Caffe). They have one coaster there, but because it was off season there was probably about 200 people total in the park. The wont run the coaster unless they have 4 people on it. Me and my buddy had to wait about 15 minutes before 2 more people showed up. that was as close to being alone as I have ever been.
