You had the ultimate torture. Forget wind, cold, and rain. 3 hours stuck on Small World with the music going and I'd be trying to end it all some how.
In the fall last year I got stuck on the trim brakes at the end of Wildfire at SDC. I was bragging about how this ride never seems to brakedown when I was there at SDC, so I was surprised to this ride brakedown and while I was on it. Well I was stuck for about 10 minuites while the maintence guys tried to jog the brakes with no luck. So they decided to walk us off the ride.
Back in May at WOF I got stuck on the Boomerang on the cable lift hill just outside the station where the hill flattens out to renter the station at full speed. It took the maintence guys a long time to get to the ride then the lowered the train back down into the station and got us off and into a waiting area so we can get back on when the ride comes back up. This was the shortest ride I had on the Boomerang in distance. (about 75 feet)

I got stopped on the lift hill of Raging Bull for about 5 minutes. At coasters after dark at SFGAm I got stopped about 20 feet from the top of Giant Drop for quite a while. That is one scarry ride to get stuck on. At first it wasn't bad and then you start thinking about the restraints, and being suspended close to 200 ft in the air. It also didn't help that there was a girl sitting next to me that didn't want to go on it in the first place but her friends made her.
Its funny you mention that...I was stuck on the top of Giant Drop back in 00' for about 20 minutes or so. One of the freakiest experiences of my life, I kid you not. Plus they dropped us without notice when they fixed the ride.
Gator and I were recently stuck halfway on MF's lift hill for about 15 minutes. It's a good thing that I love heights, but your patience wears thin.
Luckily they got it going but after our train was done they shut the ride down.

(Yes, we were *considerably* more than halfway up...never trust height-checks from someone who does NOT have a reasonable fear of heights...LOL!)...;)
I will say this, it was our only good chance at riding MF that day, using FreeWay got us our *singular* ride as MF was tempermental all day...also, CP's customer service, giving us exit passes "for our trouble", that was out of the ordinary for CF....which is another example of why I consider CP to be unique in the chain.
Certain victory.
Haha no I'm not giving Patrick the finger
My whole issue was the huge, gray cloud that was looming over us. I did NOT want to be trapped into a coaster 200 feet in the air and be DRENCHED. Luckily that cloud passed over. ;-)
Luckily we got our blissful, front-row ride. :-) Kick ass!

The bad thing was we had a bunch of little kids on the ride so we had no weight to get us over the hill as we were trying to rock back and forth to get it going.
So on top of being stuck for 45 minutes, we got to hear all these kids crying and screaming that they wanted their mommies. My buddy and I were just laughing the whole time.
I have seen the Mixer at Adventureland get stuck upside down, hope no one lost their lunch.

Kick...was this last night? I was at the park and remember watching the coaster have problems, etc...so we just didn't ride. I think i was stuck on the holding brake there as well for a good 20 min. before as well. That's my only experience.
No, it was the Friday before CB Con at Dorney. To make things worse, it was in a downpour. Those cars only shield you from the rain so much...
Certain victory.
After not having been on a coaster for almost 10 years (my first one after my hiatus was Raging Bull in the front seat), I stated going on some rides here and there. On a trip to California, we went to PGA, and rode the Demon (I was working my way up to riding Stealth at the time). We broke down on the Demon right before the corkscrew. I was terrified that once the ride started back up that we would not have the momentum to actually make it through the corkscrew, but my husband laughed at my worry.
I kept hoping they would let us off the ride, but instead they sent someone up to tell us they were working on the problem and the ride would be going soon. We were stuck for about 10 minutes before they started it up again. Well, we made it through the corkscrew, and after all of that, my husband admitted he was nervous too.
It's surprising to me now that with all of the parks and rides I have been too since getting back into coasters again, I really have not gotten stuck on any rides (minus the Demon problem).

Nothing amazing, just my two cents.
Next was the Beast this year. I dont know we got to the top and the chain jsut stopped. It stopped for like a total of ten seconds, and then started over the top.
Then Millie this year i was in the back and not that high, but some idiot took off his seatbelt. The ops were fast to go up on the side cart and the maitenence was there in a huirry too, so they did a good job, but funny was the people chanting buckle up as they threw him outta the park classic
