ERT at PKI for CoasterBuzzCon!

Just got off the phone with PKI and I can confirm two ERT events for sure for CoasterBuzzCon, June 9. We're talking night rides on Beast and at least one walk-on cycle for Tomb Raider (77 seats for 77 people, more cycles if we get more people). Also pulling for one more... we'll see what happens!
I'll get the registration flyer up soon! Mark Sunday, June 9 on your calendar!

Here's hoping that the CoasterbuzzCon will be the first enthusiast event at PKI that is promised night ERT on The Beast will be the first to acutally get it! :)
(The Beast had mechanical problems for the '99 Post-ACE Con add-on day and last year's NAPHA event for those who don't know. It did operate for last year's CoasterCamp, but we didn't know what to expect in the way of ERT)

We got ERT on the Beast at night 2 summers ago with another website "outing" and it was INSANE FAST that night.....here's hoping it's that way again, cause if you haven't experienced it....you just can't understand!!
Was that the URC event? I wanted to go but couldn't. Everyone who went said it was a blast.
PKI PR ambassador Jeff Siebert told me today that they apparently have done quite a bit of work on Beast in the off-season. He said it should be running as well, maybe better, as it did when it opened. I can't wait to check it out!

Last year, a day after Summer Twin Con, we had ERT on XF. 15 rides on ONE hour. Plus some SUE rides. This was all 8am in the morning, and yes, they did fill a train full of Enthusiasts on a flyer ;)
Its actually very cool not getting out of your seat on XF anywhere for a straight hour....

I'll have final pricing soon, and the registration form. It'll be a little less than a normal PKI gate admission ($41.99), only you get the added benefit of having the ERT and food till you barf at lunch.

Jesus christ, if its running like it did at URC day then I promise The Beast is going to make a believer out of every person there. Seriously, it was non stop, pitch dark brutality the whole ride. The whole course was so intense the whole way through and I got so many rides in I was literally sore for a week afterwards - not really from it being excessively rough or jerky or anything, its just that when the things running well its just hard core non-stop. If its anything like URC day was, it will be a life changing experience.

The URC event was awesome. My daughter and I were near the front of the line for the Beast for the 11:30-12:30 AM ERT. We got on the first train out and managed to get in 7 rides in that hour.
You could get off and take a shortcut around to get back on. It was like all of the trims except the one at the covered bridge were off. It was totally insane. The speed was OUT OF CONTROL. That ERT WAS BRUTAL. On the last ride, all I could do was grit my teeth and hold on. I would have gone again if I could. If I remember right, the only light that was on was one on a telephone pole out in the woods somewhere. You have to ride the Beast in the dark!!!!!!
I guess I'm in need of some parenting skills. I took my daughter to Coastermania, 18 hours at the park with only 4 hours of sleep the night before. Drove back to Columbus, got 4 more hours of sleep. Then off to the URC event at PKI for 16 hours. We went to Steak and Shake at 1:20AM and looked as if we had been in a tornado. Well, I guess that's what childhood memories are all about.
P.S. We can't wait to get our Coasterbuzz cards !!!

I have been keeping June 9th open for quite a while sure cant wait. Count me in.
Jeff: For Tomb Raider reguarding the one walk-on cycle are we all going to meet at Tomb Raider at a certain time?Also I will be brining at least one friend with as a guest can my friend come with to Kings Island?
Cant wait for the night rides on The Beast never been on it at night just during the day. Any ride time on Sonny?
