Who went or is going this weekend?
The wait times have been so low that the wife and I bought tickets for Monday which was still not sold out for pass holders. Even Battle at the Ministry hit 60 minutes this afternoon. Everything else is sub 45 minutes with most being 5-10 minutes.
I've read speculation that they are limiting tickets, lowering capacity so things run smoothly. It's like an unannounced soft opening. I'm expecting to see attendance pick up over the next several weeks.
Another theory is that ticket prices are too high, which is keeping people away. (Yeah, right.)

It allows them to work the bugs out without 40,000 angry guests and also gives them a chance to take the band-aid off and see what different crowd levels do to the guest experience and how varying crowd sizes play into optimal staffing levels.
Sounds smart. They learned from the Harry Potter opening day lines. Although, I did see some videos of people lined up in the parking lot at 4-5am this time.
