Who went or is going this weekend?
The wait times have been so low that the wife and I bought tickets for Monday which was still not sold out for pass holders. Even Battle at the Ministry hit 60 minutes this afternoon. Everything else is sub 45 minutes with most being 5-10 minutes.
I've read speculation that they are limiting tickets, lowering capacity so things run smoothly. It's like an unannounced soft opening. I'm expecting to see attendance pick up over the next several weeks.
Another theory is that ticket prices are too high, which is keeping people away. (Yeah, right.)

They are sold out all but ten days through June so they are clearly limiting attendance. The question is by how much. Pass holders can still buy tickets and you can buy tickets at the gate for the current day.
Seems weird to limit sales, especially since they've been in previews for weeks.

Or the opening of both Potter areas in the 2010s. It seems they've made a decision to gently ease the park into different crowd levels, which I think is great. It allows them to work the bugs out without 40,000 angry guests and also gives them a chance to take the band-aid off and see what different crowd levels do to the guest experience and how varying crowd sizes play into optimal staffing levels.
Sounds smart. They learned from the Harry Potter opening day lines. Although, I did see some videos of people lined up in the parking lot at 4-5am this time.
Anyone know the magic behind these robot dragon things? Kinda creepy. Is there someone inside of there?
It's a Boston Dynamics robot dog. You might have seen the videos where a person tries to knock the robot off balance, but it adjusts and keeps walking. Or where it walks up steps with ease.
And I agree that it is creepy, but only because they could be used in war. What if it had guns coming out of it's back?
What if we gave it AI?
I have seen the tech being used as a bomb detector before. So it's another example of how technology can be used for good as well as evil.

Boston Dynamics has made it clear that they will not weaponize their products.

Is there really a difference between Boston Dynamics weaponizing their products at the factory and building their products in a way to be weaponized by the end user?

There's a white and a black one. When I was there for my preview day the viking was there asking passersby if they saw a baby dragon and then it pops its head around the corner of the fence. Seriously adorable.

Sounds like an opportunity to me!
