El Paso mayor in Cleveland shopping for roller coasters

Last week, two of El Paso Mayor John Cook's aides were in Cleveland checking out the state-of-the-art Cedar Point amusement park -- and a roller coaster that's for sale there.

Nope, that's just an indoor fair.
How low is the ridership on CS, ID and WC? When you walk by in the summer the trains are running full or nearly full. There may not be a 2 hour wait like there is for MF or TTD, but they are operating at or very close to full capacity.

But it only says "Cedar Point Coasters are not for sale".

There is nothing to indicate they may not be selling a GL coaster. Since Cedar Fair owns GL and the people to talk to are located at Cedar Point, that would resolve the "cedar point" reference in the article.

If I had to take a wild guess, I'd say Headspin would be on the chopping block.
