Ease of Use

Here's where you can post your thoughts on CoasterBuzz's ease of use. In particular, I'm looking for your thoughts on the help system, Personal Buzz, the track record, the contribute section, etc.

What I'm NOT looking for is feature requests. Please comment only on how you use (or don't use) the existing functions.

The most confusing aspect when I first came to the site was the track records. (I didn't know what they were for until I read the help.)

I also though that it was weird that every park had a "Fourms" listing on the park page but almost every listing only has "General Buzz" on it. When seeing that there was a special section on the park pages for fourms I though that there would be some park-specific fourms, and they must be only accessible from the park pages and not the master fourm list because I didn't see any park specific-fourms on the master fourm list.

Personally, I think the site is pretty good already. I found the track record to be pretty easy to use (but I already knew what was meant BY "track record").

I find the "Personal Buzz" to be a bit less useful than I'd imagined. Mostly because I went and set it up and put some parks in, but find I never LOOK at them, I just go straight to the forums instead :)

The majority of personal items are from the site database. Mine, for example, has GTTP, Ultimate Roller Coaster, Screamscape, etc. I make it my home page and I have a jumping off point to those sites. That's the intended use.

I think that this site is very easy to use, no matter what your computer skills are. I have never used one of the help screens because I have not felt the need for it. Posting messages are very easy and make good sense, but I think that there needs to be some clearer instructions for setting up a track record.

Other than this, this site is great and has no problems as far as I can see.

I didn't have a lot of a hassle when I first got on this site. It is pretty easy, evrything is really nice. I wouldn't make any major changes.

I have not used the help yet. Basically it is pretty easy to use. I have never posted rumors or news, basically because I would be the last to find out a fresh new rumor for a park, and second there are always new ones to read.

Whose Line is it Anyway?

I think its fairly simple to use too. I like the track record alot. It makes it easier than trying to remember what you rode and didn't. I usually just go to the Forums as well. I never really use the personal stuff. I think the pics are pretty cool too for the few people that have them in their profile.
