Eagle re-tracking at SFGAm

I did not ride the eagle this weekend....I don't much like Blue. They appear to have only retracked a few hundred feet, only about a quarter of the Barrel maybe. Not that it's a bad thing. Better this than to have it fall apart!

Ealge...rough?! are you crazy? that shuffling gave it character! I loved the feeling that the helix gave. though, if it will prolong the life of the coaster, I'm all for retracking. in another twenty years or so, the helix will be back to its normal, shakey self and I'll be happy. ;)

ya..But I don't like it when a guest comes to a park and has all these rumors and then i have to deal with them. It gets a bit annoying. I am saying if you have a question you can ask it..but don't go around starting a rumor and saying it's true..if you really don't think it is.

Transfan..I am sorry ok?..maybe i have said some things wrong..but we have both been wrong..let's just clear all of this up. Maybe it is like someone said..maybe we can't get along cause we have some same veiws..I dunno what it is..but I am calling Truce.

Oh onto the topic..I enjoy Eagle backwards..:)

For those who have not ridden the Eagle yet this year, DO IT! While some (myself included) didn't really mind the "shaking" on the helix, the retracking has done a WORLD of difference.

I was really surprised at just how smooth it now is...it makes the ride that much better. I rode both blue and red (backwards and forward), and was equally as impressed on both sides.

Agreed! When I rode AE at CBuzzCon, it was smooth as butter during the first half of the helix.

In fact, I (and Kneemeister) think that is the fastest AE has ever run... It was running awesome on Saturday!
