DreamVision theme park video, filled with stock video footage, ripe for mocking

Posted Tuesday, March 17, 2015 9:38 AM | Contributed by Jeff

From the blog:

Enter DreamVision, which is not Disney, though a former Disney exec is involved in the company. They announced plans to build a massive theme park in Fort Worth in early February. A heavy dose of skepticism followed the announcementincluding a range of questions about why they had yet to purchase any land for the park, their history of lawsuits and the fact that they've never actually built a theme park. If all that wasn't bizarre enough, they also released a video that will have you scratching your head so hard that you'll eventually strike brain.

Before they proceed (if they do), they need to can the marketing department.*

I know right? It's so completely weird. This is the kind of stuff that a kid does to pretend to be a consultant in the industry. If you had something awesome that you were really taking action on, you'd keep it to yourself until there's something viable to start selling.

I would have understood this video much more if it had been posted on April 1.

I bailed about three minutes in, and only lasted that long because I was also watching as someone was chopped on "Chopped".

I don't like winter sports in the winter, so the opportunity to enjoy winter sports every day of the year holds little appeal.

OMG, I just about died laughing and thought that was one of the best things I'd seen all day. Until I found this:

Warning: this one is over twelve minutes.

Spoiler: there's a Dragon Wagon.

You know what they say, "Ridiculously over promise and never deliver." Or something like that, I'm quite sure I am very close to having it right.

I guess if you can build a ski hill in Dubai, you can build one anywhere...

This is utterly sensational.

Jeff, you know you want to make a Charmland promo one weekend, you've got all the gear.

Nothing to see here. Move along.
