Yeah, there's no SNL skits out there on Youtube or anything anymore. Looks like someone's lawyers jumped all over that.
I really, really want to find the "Clam Chowdaaaa" skit - you know, the one with Rob Morrow (of Northern Exposure fame) where he's behind in every conversation. Hilarious! Yet, I cant find it anywhere.
Taco Town seems to be available-ish, but that's one of their "digital shorts" now.
If you have netflix streaming, most of the old seasons of SNL are available there. Usually just the skits and not the musical guest, though.
Thanks, Gonch. I was having trouble remembering where I heard "little Opie Cunningham" years ago.
God, I miss the old Saturday Night Live"..the first two casts. After that I had a modicum of interest, then....zero.

You mean Opie Taylor, don't you? Or Richie Cunningham.Unless it's a reference to the classic SNL skit with Eddie Murphy and Ron Howard (of which I can't seem to find any video).
Yeah. I remember seeing Murphy insisting that Howard was Opie Cunningham on SNL. It was perfect. How many people get two iconic roles before they become an adult? And then go on to have an iconic career beyond those two roles? There is a long list of actors who get one iconic role as a kid and can't get away from it. Maybe Howard's key was to have two rather than one role which is easier to escape. Being on the other side of the camera probably helps too.
Ever since that SNL skit, I think of Opie Cunningham everytime I see Howard on screen or a film that he directed.
I stuck with me so much that I didn't even realize it was wrong until RGB pointed it out...and I would've been 9 when that originally aired.
Don't forget, he was considered for the Happy Days role because of his performance in American Graffiti. And I probably stopped watching SNL before some of you here were even born.
