Does Jeff Know?

Ok, Does Jeff know (with his contacts) what is going on at CP and as usuall is being tight lipped? If so he must be chuckling at how the rumors and stories are running rampant about the new CP ride.
Oh. He knows...

-----------------

He knows everything about c.p. It's like he owns it or something.

Does Jeff know? Well, does the bear crap in the woods? Go read a few of the threads over at GTTP and you will see that he knows for sure what is going on. There's even a thread dedicated to all of the hints he's dropped.

-----------------
"Look, we all go way back, and uh, I owe you from the thing with the guy in the place and I'll never forget it." "That was our pleasure." "I'd never been to Belize."

"Those who know, don't tell"..... but they sure do drop a lot of obvious hints! ;)

Who doesnt know.
Truer words have never been spoken. Anyone who actually acts surprised when the announcement happens should be shot.

There are many of us and others who know. If you basically live at the Point it's not that hard. Better yet work there for a living, get up in the ranks. Gain trust and then they might tell you ;)

As Jeff has said before, those who know will not give out any more than they are allowed to, or in some cases, told to (simply to prevent some rumors from running wild). I have no doubt there are several people on these boards who are well aware of what is being added, not only to CP but other parks (Right Kara?). But they certainly are not going to betray the trust they have with their parks by saying too much.

Besides, knowing exactly what is going in isn't going to make the rides built any sooner. I kinda like the suspense.

Well, knowing sooner is good for one thing...

It will give some people more time to whine, complain and generally bee-itch about what is on the way. "We're getting [insert name here] when we should be getting [insert other name here]. We're bein' cheated again!"

-----------------
Kind of hard to take a post as objective if a park or coaster name is part of the "user name"

SLFAKE - if you think there's a lot of complaining now just wait until CP announces this thing.

Mamoosh - That is what I was implying. The sooner it is announced / known, the sooner the complaining can commence!

....but does that mean that the complaining will END any sooner....kinda think not!

Unfortunately, gator is spot on.

chris, who really doesn't care who knows what, as we'll all know soon enough.

I just wonder what is so cool about "knowing" anyway. Perhaps it can be chalked up to "sour grapes" on my part, but I dont think it's a *whole* lot of fun knowing what's coming when you can discuss it with anybody. I've *had* situations like that before, and they got *uncomfortable* for me when people started asking questions (though admittedly, this was dealing with people jobs and not some frivolous rollercoaster). Unless one gets a perverse thrill out of (begin annoying kid voice) "I know something you dont know, I know something you dont know!" (end annoying kid voice) I'd think it would be equal parts pleasure and problem.

agreed, hostyl.....while I keep the "dream job" in my heart, I can imagine trying to keep MY mouth shut about this kind of news......not to mention having to keep mum about Kennywood's closing time....;)
