Do you think Holiday world will ever build a steel

I was thinking of either a hyper (or Junior Hyper) of floorless themed to Santa's sleigh. I think the bobsled idea is cool enough, but Santa's sleigh flys. B&M hyper trains give you a similar view as to what you would have from a sleigh. Anyway, I'm not saying whether they should or not, but I think any park that is successful will want to expand and try newer and bigger things. I think eventually they will build a steel, it could be a while coming though.

Raging Bull...

I was NOT slamming steel coasters, but I would definitely prefer (with emphasis on PREFER) that HW not ever add a large steel coaster. Yes, it is true that they could put a steelie somewhere in the trees, and yes that would potentially be VERY cool. I am not saying that it couldn't be done, or that it wouldn't even be fun. I would just prefer to see the park remain just as it is with perhaps the addition of a Mouse or as others have said, a Steel Eel type coaster.
In regards to the skyline, my thought is that although there is a pretty large woodie there, it isn't like the skyline of CP. I realize that HW would never end up like CP, but heck...most people thought that SFMM would always remain a small park, and then along came Great America Revolution, and we know what became of that.

Ok, thanks for clarifying. I thought you meant any steel coaster would be bad for the park.

I think that as long as HW stays family owned, you won't have to worry about the atmosphere or skyline. Let's face it, their largest expenditure was on the Legend, and that was only $3 million. I can't see them investing in a $10 million or more ride in the near future.

I love Holiday World. I want to see it stay smallish....I guess I feel as though I "knew it when..." That sort of thing:) I just want it to stay how I know it. It is selfish, but being older, I prefer the parks that are set to "mosey" if you understand my meaning.

Remember people, the Koch's are NOT rich.
They will probally stick to smaller steel coasters. I am guessing an Arrow Mad Mouse and a few new flat rides.

But I would love to see a Chance Carousel, as long as it doesnt crash down from its center bearing.....
