Do our lives revolve around Coasterbuzz?

I surf coasterbuzz on my breaks....or when I get tired of looking at the proE screen
I'll also agree with Homey G.

I am in front of a computer screen all day at work and while programs are running or compiling or what ever, there are times when I can jump on CB. I do have a PC at home, but sometimes weeks can pass between even turning it on. In the evenings and on weekends I simply do not go on the PC very much, let alone "on line".

As stated, if your life revolves around this site (or any site), the it is time to expand your horizons.

Yes it pretty much is besides school. Coasterbuzz is the only site I go to besides coastergallery and coaster-network.
I check out the site every day right after i read my email and check on my stocks.I check forems mostly and news about 10 minutes a day.

Out of the literally BILLIONS of web sites around the world... this is the only one you visit?

Some people here...

...Very deprived!

...Have serious issues!!

...Definately need a real life!!!

...Have yet to experience the outside world!!!!

if people have yet to experience the outside world, everybody's track records would be empty!

My Life does not revolve around CB. My life revolves around coasters mostly...In school, I'm doodling new ideas for coasters, etc. Heck, I even made a button that goes on my bookbag that says, "I'd rather be riding a coaster!"
True, MooreOn, very true.

Mayday - Memorial Day Weekend - Nonpoint, Nickelback, Oleander, Staind
Ozzfest - June 8 - Drowning Pool, Papa Roach, Linkin Park, Disturbed, Black Sabbath
Awake Tour- June 15 - Darwin's Waiting Room, Puddle of Mudd, Deftones, Godsmack

I am on coasterbuzzz a lot on my free time ( even though sometimes I don't post as much as i would like) .  But this is just a hobby  not a life.  I think it is safe to say a lot of people  here do not have many hobbies but surfing the net and rollercoasters.  With that in mind I know there are more people who spend a lot of time at this site. Going as far as saying  that your lives revolve around coasterbuzz is quite a freaky thing.  some people really need to get out , more than to go ride rollercoaster :) , you know get outside a while, get active , get a social life (besides chatting with people on the net) and live a little.

I agree with you guys that this site and many others can be entertaining, and it's definitely a great way to meet new people who share your interests. However, if you spend more time behind a computer screen than out in the real world, you're missing out on life. There are a lot more important things out there than basing your self worth on how people respond to you online. The computer age is great, but computers will never take the place of human companionship. Just remember what it was like before the computer age.
There's more to life than the Internet.  Quite honestly, I'd rather be out having a real experience in a park, and on a coaster, than being on-line just talking about it.  But, when I can't be at the parks, it's always nice to be able to chat about them with other enthusiasts.

I usually am on here weeknights, when I get home from work I pretty much am a homebody, I am on here and other coaster forums reading and writing on the forums while watching tv and cooking dinner! I am not on here alot on the weekends unless we stay home! My life doesn't revolve around coasterbuzz but my weeknights do!!

I'll echo fellow 'Buzzers comments and state for the record that if your life revolves around CoasterBuzz, well, then you need a real life.

I'm on here to browse through the topics and occaisonally post a TR or something, but this site or any other hardly controls my life.

The only coaster related sites I check are RRC, CoasterBuzz, and URC; and even then, I only check out the forums. Other than that, I browse through Diner City and MTV.com weekly or bi-weekly, and that's it.

Really dude, if noone replies to your posts then you get sad? Yikes! Here's a couple suggestions:

- Socialize (not just coasters!)

- Hit up the club scene

- Get a girlfriend

- Watch television

- Take up sports

- Do something man! Having CoasterBuzz as your *entire* life is not only sad, it's scary! There's alot more to life than coasters, as the past two days have shown.....

My life does NOT revolve around any website, but I do hang out a lot on the web while I am waiting for customers at my workplace.  Of all the websites I visit, this one is one of the few I have bookmarked.

Watch the grass grow!

i guess i need a new life, then :) :) :)

It's so easy to pop in here while you're doing something else. It takes a minute here, a minute there, and can start to add up. If you look at it in the morning, it's different than the night before.

What's that it says in the original post, though? About thinking about new topics and worrying about posts, that's messed up. Just because it's here doesn't mean you have to come up with topics. Some topics are better left unstarted. I've been here at least a year, had one topic I think I started and that's all(it was about my dog, too, I think). It would kill me to have to come up with a topic!

Regarding topics....lately I have found that there are an amazingly large amount of poor threads being started.  We are definitely in the winter doldrums, so to speak.  I find it harder to stay here on CB with nothing new to talk about.  I don't start topics very well (mine are usually ignored, or closed), so I await fresh ideas too.  As of now, I think I check about 3 times a day.
