Discovery Channel Coaster Riders?

I think the call for the Raven shoot went out on URC only. At least that's the only place I saw it.

I did meet a few people there that were following the crew up to PKI.

Paula announced it in RRC too.  We made it to the HW shoot, the CI Cyclone shoot, and the Nitro shoot at SFGAdv.  CI Cyclone was announced by Steve Urbanowicz and SFGAdv announced by Kristin Kocher.

A lot of these announcements originate on RRC and find their way over to URC and 'Buzz.  It pays to read them all.

Get known in your local coaster community by joining clubs and attending coaster events.  Sooner or later you will get a call or e-mail when a shoot is coming up.  On occasion, you will also see info about up coming shoots on bulletin boards such as this one.  Parks usually like to use non-employees, but do use employees if they don't have enough people or if they want to improve the mix.  A call for coaster enthusiasts on a weekday during the school year has a tendency to bring out a lot of middle aged white guys and relatively few students, females, and racial minorities.

I got invited to do the Discovery shoot for Acrophobia at SFoG due to ACE membership...couldn't make it without missing two days work.  Also got an invite to due a SeaWorld commercial for Kraken's opening, but I found out the day before the shoot, and couldn't take a day off without notice...kinda regret missing that one.  I'll get one for the opening of Apollo13, with any luck...;~)..
But the people featured on the videos are, as noted, people the park already knows...

If it isn't too much to ask What is Apollo 13 I've personally never heard of it or anything about it.

highly unsubsntiated rumor re: USF.  Have tried to dig up something more substantial, so far no luck...given my connections, I'll probably get my first offical notice via some other person posting on a board, LOL...but should any real news come my way, you can rest easy, it'll be here...
