As for operation during rain - doesn't DT have to shut down when it rains because there are roof vents above the track?
There were some issues to overcome, such as echoing of the robotic voices, scenery falling, etc. What turned out was a better experience, a understandable storyline, a great name,(its offically Dispatch Master Transport), and was the talk of the season with the orange jumpsuits. But for what it is worth, CedarPoint pulled it all of for just $1million, and it helped the numbers with the air-conditioned q areas.
I remember that first summer with DT. I enjoyed the theming/experience very much. It's kind of a shame how much it's slipped.
Those 3 guys are responsible for hundreds of projetcs all over the globe. No one really remembers the small stuff. Like who built the loading stations for all those Schwartzkof coasters, who was subbed out to lay the track when Intamin or some other non-common woodie company built a ride. Guys gotta pay the bills down all year, even when a signature ride isn't signed at IAAPA.

Sept. 11th 2001, Slayer released God Hates Us All. The song "Disciple" uncannily describes the events of that day, as well as the anthrax letters that followed.

Zero-G, I got your joke right off, ThrillRide and Rumor being synonymous (second hard word to speel tonight!). There's just got to be an easier way to show <sarcasm> tags...LOL...

I do like the idea of having some parts outdoors, like when you arrive in Alaska.

Avalanche Run was enclosed to increase ridership. It, like all other bobsleds, are not repeat rides. There was no problems with sand, sun, fish, birds, abominal snowmen, etc.
Oh, I distinctly remember a problem with the yeti!
