Who knows if they will actually do it, but Arrow showed at the last Iaapa (and in First Drop), that they wanted to do small trains with a continuous load unlike the miserable boarding process for X.

If they want to increase capacity, why don't they double block (ala TTD) and add a dropping floor instead of the tip back (or do whatever they need to do to only have 1 restraint check).
The only day I rode X, it was running two trains and the first was consistantly beating the unload of the second. Maybe I hit it on a good (great?) day, but the line wasn't more than 20 minutes, and I was pretty happy with the capacity. If they could actually keep all the trains in service, a double station (I guess that would be a quad station) might work, but would probably be prohibitively expensive.
I just think it's a shame to shorten the train because I thought the only mind blowing part of the ride was the first drop and the second raven in the back row (from the dragging down while facing straight down). A shorter train will definitely negate any dragging effect.
