Digital Cameras!

Thanks Calvin. I was thinking that i could probably easily sneak the camera on the ride. I guess I'll have to do that tomorrow at SFWoA. (man its hard to believe that its already May) And the good thing is i have those pants with the out side pockets that i can put it in.

Sneaking a camera onto a ride is a horribly irresponsible thing to do. If you have a good strap and permission of the park, that's one thing. But if someone looses their grip on a camera without a strap (even a "cheap disposable" one) and someone gets hit, that's a *BAD* situation.

Policies like that exist for a reason. Follow them, or risk ejection or worse.

I need a good case for my Canon G2. I'm afraid the velcro shut cases will come open on rides. Any recommendations?

Last year, I took my digi cam (a bulky Kodak DC290) in the park for a couple hours, took pics, then took it back out to the car for the rest of the day.

BTW, how is BGW w/ on ride pics?

They are good with them. Just put it in your pocket. There are some great photos sports on Apollo Alpengeist and LNM.
