Different state then home park?

I live in Ohio, but I consider Kennywood my home park.Does any one else consider a park in another state there home park ?I actually live closer to Kennywood than any of the parks in Ohio.

Long live the Phantom!
I live on Long Island, but I consider my home park to be Great Adventure, because it is closest to my house(2 1/2 hours), darn...LI needs a real theme park!

I live in MA, but consider Canobie Lake Park as my home park. It's only about 25 minutes away, while Six Flags NE is almost two hours. *** This post was edited by Gilly17 on 4/4/2001. ***
I'm in AR, and the closest theme park to me is Silver Dollar City (in MO), which is about 1 1/2 hours away. However, until this year I've never really cared. It was a fun park, but nothing I'd want to go to repeatedly. What a difference a B&M makes... :) *** This post was edited by Lothar on 4/4/2001. ***
Perhaps a better question would have been "Any body have a home park that is not the closest park to them?"

I thought a home park was, by definition, the closest park to you.
I would consider a home park to be the one you visit most and in that case mine is Alton Towers or Southport, or even BPB.
This is funny, BOTH of my home parks are in different states! I live in southern Illinois, and SFStL, which is in Missouri, is 1 1/2 hrs. west of me, and Holiday World, located in Indiana, is 1 1/2 hrs. east of me!

I tend to consider PKI my "home park" even though SFKK is a little closer... shrug. PKI's been around longer.
I live in South Florida and I consider my home park SFGAdv, cause I go like 10 times a year. I go to Central Florida parks every couple of weeks, but Great Adventure feels more like home to me!

Some consider it that, but I have also heard others consider it the park that they visit most and are most familiar with. But, like so much else, is there any one true deffinition?

When you talk on a public forum, you don't call parks just Six Flags. I have no idea waht the hell are you talking about. Just telling you.

Hey me too!! I live in Washington, DC, and my home parks are SFA (Maryland) and PKD (Virginia). Although my parks are a little closer (25 min to SFA and 1hr 10min to PKD).

Cedar Point is my home park and I live in Michigan. Though maybe if Shivering Timbersland, uh I mean Michigan's Adventure(;)), got a few more good coasters, I may consider going there more often.
Cedar Point is my home park, and I live in Indiana.

Formely of Michigan, now in Chicago, I still think of Cedar Point as my home park. Been there every year since '73. Love that place.
