Different Colors

Instead of white backround it should be a different color.

I agree, its too green. Use a happy color. When I think of green I think of peoples faces at parks when they are sick. I think that a good color is a shade of blue or a teal color.

Or how bout a rollercoaster in the background.

Just a comment on making color changes: It's not as easy as one may think. I'm involved, as we speak, in choosing new colors for our company's site. Yikes!

However, this site has a pretty straight forward style. I guess the only difficult thing would be the logo update. Still...

Forget about it. It can't be THAT bad!
I like your logo w/ the guy screamin on it it looks cool.
The green and white is nice. I like it better than the old site. :)

White backgrounds are easiest to read. That comes from countless usability and human factor studies I've read. There is no way I'll change that.

Yeah, the white is for reading, just like the font color (black) shouldn't change. I realize that it's involved to change even a basic color scheme (ugh, the months to work on my own site WAAAAY smaller than here...), but it would be neat to have color changes perhaps for holidays. Like, RWB for the 4th of July (a major holiday for parks), etc. Or just a change of logo for the holiday - less involved, but still spirited! But hey, it looks great, I'm not complaining! :)

Yeah, it was strange at first, going from yellow to green.

I think that the white an green backrounds make the site more classy.

Sit up right, hold on tight!

Yeah, for the 4th you could have the guy in the logo holding an American flag.
Remember, though. Not all CoasterBuzzers are Americans. There's a number of members from Britian, Australia, Japan, Mexico, and even some from Israel.

All the better, we'd celebrate different cultures and holidays, thereby in some small way educating all CoasterBuzzers to the wide range of members that share a love for coasters.

I really like the current color scheme here. Not so sure about looking up that guy's nostrils in the logo though...
I like the color scheme, but what about a way for the user to customize it in their "edit account" settings ? Maybe even a way to assign colors to specific users so that you could scroll through a thread quickly, looking for posts from your friends or favorite members...

Current favorite coasters:
Wooden: 1) Beast 2) Raven 3) Son of Beast 4) The Boss 5) The Legend
Steel: 1) Raging Bull 2) Millennium Force 3) V2 4) Wild Thing 5) Mr. Freeze
Not to nitpick too much but if you use stylesheets it isn't really too hard to change the colors of a page and such.

And I'll bet Jeff's software makes it pretty easy too. (the POP forums, anyway)

But I actually like the colors now. Very easy to read and the layout is not cluttered. It's nice.

The site colors are great here- they are very brite. That is what the problem with many sites is they are all black and that kind of gives it a mean look. This site always looks happy. Just my opinion.
