Diamondback POV is up!

I rode back-seat on the red and yellow trains, and front-seat on the green train...never experienced any roughness.

I have noticed rattling/vibrating on a lot of the later B&Ms/Intamins, though.

If anyone says Diamondback is a rough ride, then I'm not sure what they're looking for. I've been down there 8 times and have ridden each time anywhere between 2 and 6 times each. (not counting Ride Warriors night ERT where we lost count) and I'm amazed by the smoothness each time. There's intensity, with positive and negative forces, but rough? Like glass.

The last time we were there we didn't beg for seats, but took whatever they assigned us. We wound up in 7 one time and 10 the other. Toward the middle of the train the air was pure floater, from the beginning of the crest to almost halfway down the next hill. The front, with total pop, and the back, with the feeling of being yanked down the hills are great places to sit, but I'll never complain about the middle of the train. It made it kind of perfect, with that rockin' air time being so steady and consistant. And even on the first drop our butts left the seat.

And I want one of those chairs for my office. Attach one those split keyboards to the lapbar and my boss will never have to go looking for me again! Total comfort.

Have I mentioned how much I love this ride? Yea, couple times. Cedar Point's definitely on the back burner for me this season- every free day I have, my truck seems to only want to go south! I'm so glad to have a reason to love KI again.

I rode same train same seat both time I was assigned the 14th row the air time was perfect over every hill The only problem was the vibration that is why I asked if it was the wheels perhaps on that car of that rain it probably would not have been noticeable if the seats were padded. I acctually like the ride inspite of have a shakey ride both times We rode the voyage and beast both of which had jackhammering in a few place and that did not bother me in the padded seats. I like B&M I just had bad rides this time and figured I would ask if anyone elses had this issue or noticed it.

There is one section of rattle that I noticed each and every 20+ times I have ridden it. That section is right after the turnaround at the bottom of that hill. It's not bad at all, but is the only part that I felt that B&M rattle, like the track was not "right" or something. The rest of the ride is glass though.
