They did not make sure the train was secure though. Sometimes they just looked to see the lapbars were down on Pegasus and we just left w/out them checking the lapbars at all. It didn't bother me, it's just that doesn't seem like normal ride ops standards.
Overall it was a great day. Cyclops had major air and was lots of fun. Can't wait for Hades to be finished so I can catch a ride on that! I took pics, but they aren't as good as all of your's so I won't post them.
When I was at Timber Falls, I took pictures of Avalanche and it looks amazing. The drop is steep and the turns are at least 80 degrees. Expect airtime on this ride. As I was leaving, I asked a guy(who I assumed worked there) when the ride was expected to open. Little did I know was that this was the General Manager. He told me that it should be open in about a week(before July). He blamed the rain and delays in getting parts for the ride to the reson why it is not open yet. The train is locked up right now and they should test in a few days. He was very excited as was I.
I keep hearing a rumor that the Hades coaster is going to start all the way at the castle. Does anyone know if that is true? I find it hard to believe.
The two sides of the Hades turnaround have been joined, and after coming down to approximately one level off the ground (about 6 feet), it is now climbing up again and is at 4.5 levels now (about 30 feet) and still angled up. I still think that drop is going thru the hole in the overhead beams and will feature great airtime. It is a long way down into that tunnel, and it has to have enough power to get back over Zeus. There are now footers on both side of Zeus. I checked out the Castle Track area, and I don't think there is any way the station will be back there. It is way too far, too big a change in elevation, and there would be no way to access it. IF it did go back there, it would come back to a station closer to Zeus. I don't have the plans or anything, but there is just no way.
