Well your very opinionated! What has Vekoma ever done to you? Damn dude, if Deja opens on Sat. it will be the main focus for at least a week or so because X won't open until after that. Even when they're both open, both rides will be of great interest to the GP who has never heard/seen these rides before.

Mr. Crap Caca is my name-o, C-r-a-p, C-a-c-a, Mr. Crap Caca. Just ask SFMM Salvi and his 3-year old cousin! :) Thanx for the cool name SFMM_fa_life!
DWeaver, you mention that the reasons for the delays at the various parks are different with such a degree of confidence, yet never specifically mention the problems. Interesting. I've been following this story and frankly, have never gotten official confirmation from anybody as to what the problem is. All guesses and specualation. So, according to YOU, what are the various reasons for the delays?
But what makes SFMM special? Why has SFMM been problem-free when the other two praks have had problems with their rides? They are all the same cookie-cutter design, so they should all have the same problems.

Also, no idiot in their right mind would open SFMm's Deja Vu simply because it's the same ride as at SFoG and SFGAM, and both of those two implementations have had serious problems.

If you were in charge, would you open it now, even if your version was running perfectly, in this day and age where a minor accident becomes a HUGE piece of overexaggerated news??? I didn't think so. Just imagine the field day that the media would have if the slightest thing went wrong with the ride.
I personally believe SFMM are rushing into this, and I dought it will open 25th, It seems too soon, and how the hell can it open before the one at SFOG which has been offically delayed until October. Also the one at SFOG has had loads more testing than the SFMM one, and yet the SFMM One has had about 2-3 weeks testing, compared to a few months with the SFOG Version

Well, Personally, I would still rather see Offical Proof from SFMM themselves, This all still sounds very hard to believe myself, but I guess we will see come August 25th????
Well, I really don't care when they open DeJa Vu, as long as nothing majorly wrong happens with it. I'll be keeping tabs on this ride though, and check the news on August 24th.

The SFMM Salvi:
"Goliath Jr. looks to intense for me"
"I want to go on something more exciting than X"

LOL! Please tell me your joking. Rushing into what? The darn thing has been sitting there all summer, hello?

It's also been testing for over a month. I can't speak for the others since neither of those are in my homepark, but I can only assume that the opening of SFMM's means good news for the others. The focus of SFMM's construction shifted to X once SFOG's Deja Vu went down. But the coaster never had any major problems. Vekoma replaced the ride with fresh lift cables and checked the main motor since the ride had been sitting so long. It's good to go guys, get over it.

Besides, I'm sure we haven't heard the last of the problems with Deja Vu. ;)

I'd like a tall CCI out and back, and a grande nonfat Latte to go please!
I hope they dont open it and then something bad happens to it which delays it even longer. I planned my trip on the 23rd to the 26th so Im there on opening day!
I don't know what you guys are trippin' about. Everyone has known for about a month or so that SFMM's Deja was going to open first. Try scrolling back a few pages because I remember reading it on this site.
SFMM extended their DAILY operation through the month of September for a reason. In order to make those days profitable, they need a specific attraction, or 2, to bring in patrons. The other parks will only be open on weekends for the next 2 months, and will probably debut their Deja Vu's for Frightfest.
