As quoted from Magic Alumni, "Well...everyone was leading to believe that X will open before Deja but now it's back to where it was planned to be! Deja is planned to open next Saturday the 25th...thought I would share!"

Now he's a very reliable source, he was told from the park itself! I can't wait to go! I guess my next trip is Spetmber 1'st.!

Told from the park itself. That can be a lot of things. Managment, pavement, ride-ops, rides, retail people, or the Lemon Chill guy. Just because an employee of the park told him, doesn't make it true. Remember that, but if it does happen to open then, your lucky, SFoG's has been testing longest, and it's expected at the end of October. I'm really doubting SFMM's will be open on the 25th.

Hey, SFGAm managment, can I buy a couple cages of Sky Whirl?
Yup! Its all over the internet now. ACN has it and just about every other place. Hopefully t goes as planned and it will be open. I can hardly wait to see how good this thing is in December!

I'd like a tall CCI out and back, and a grande nonfat Latte to go please!
That would be awesome if Deja Vu opened next Saturday. If it does open, and runs good with no problems, you'll see me in line for this giant in December ;)

It is confirmed on
www.Americacoasters.com. I hope it opens there, but what about the DeJa Vu at Six Flags Great America everytime I go there it looks deserted now. I haven't seen them working on it at all since they got the line done. It doesn't even have the train on the track yet. Does anybody have any news on that??

i think that they are gonna open it first at the mountain because that is there best hope to increase attendance figures. With a double whammie, they can still be pulling in guests after the peak summer season and by opening first, it will get the most publicity. other parks may be saving it until later so that it seems new for next season.
Well it's about time one of the Deja Vu's will open. Maybe if Magic Mountain does get it going by the 25th, that'll push the other two to open soon after that.

I still don't feel quite sure about it opening THIS TIME after such long of a delay. But by the way things are looking with this ride, I honestly won't be suprised at all if it opens on the 25th of this month. I would definetely find it a joke however, because it has been officially stated that SFoG's model is scheduled to open during the month of October. And it was the first to finish vertical construction and first to begin testing.
Yes it's supposed to open on Saturday. Media day is on Friday so watch the news.
It seems funny to me to see all who have been trashing Deja Vu for so long now excited that it's opening. What's with that?
I guess I will get to ride this ride this year. I just hope SFGAM get's there's up and running soon.

Yeah I hope SfGam opens there soon . Theres still 4 weeks of testing. About a week for setting up the trains! so about 5 weeks till they might open!

V2 all the way
Just because other web sites have "confirmed" it doesn't mean that it's true. If I made a new web site called coasterupdate.com or something along those lines that sounds honest, and I also "confirmed" that a certain park was getting a ride because I heard it from the friend of a friend of the lemonade guy at the park, would that be credible? Of course not!
I'm extremely skeptical of this simply because SFoG's version has been testing significantly longer than any other park's Deja Vu. Therefore, you'd think that it would be the first to open, ja? You'd think that they would get it right at SFoG (since it was built first), then carry the engineering revisions over to the other parks, right? I realize that we're dealing with Six Flags (where very little makes sense), but this is just a little too absurd for me to even consider.
Well I know it sounds absurd, but it's true. And I'm pretty skeptical when it comes to these things. The thing most people didn't realize was that the SFMM version of Deja Vu was delayed for slightly different reasons than the other two, and has been testing *problem* free for over a month. It was given the ok by Vekoma on Wednesday, and provided there are no futher problems, the coaster will open next week. This isn't a "waiting list" situation. Which ever ride is ready will open, period. It really has VERY little to do with the other two versions of the ride.

I don't think the SFGAM version ever really had any problems. They have been behind the other 2. Never had the trains on, had to ship their trains to Georgia because of the train crash. They removed the motors after the other 2 Deja's had problem's. It's almost as if SFGAM is just sitting back and watching thhe other 2 so they don't run into any problems.

Some SFMM employees were treated to first rides last night, and from what I hear, the ride performed beautifully. The main word used to describe the ride was "scary".

Ahhhh whatever this piece of crap is not gonna open on the 25th and if it does who cares X will be the main focus.
"Vekoma Sucks-Who cares about flying dutch crap"
I called sfmm and they said that is going to open to the public on Aug 25th. It sure sounds like this going to happen, but I heard this before back in May. Even if it does open I am going to wait for x to open before I make my trip back to the Mountain.
