Dead Links

Just wanted to let you know that there are multiple "dead" links on your links pages. Perhaps a link checker would help...

That's the best programmer response I've ever read. :)

Sorry, I was under the impression that there already were link-checking software/sites available. By the way, I don't know computer programming yet. :)

Such things do exist, but not for my database. Sorry... CB is just not a high priority right now aside from getting the new version of the forums done and out. Then I can get onto other things on the site.

I might get on this if I gain some free time.

It's not of great importance, I was just trying to make you aware of it. :) The one, however does take you to a penis enlargement site. That's not really good on a family site... ;)

It's actually not hard in .Net. All I have to do is write a method to cycle through the contents of the database, create an HttpRequest object, and check the status code of the response. If it's 404 or doesn't respond, I turn it off.
