Turning off the TV works wonders for stopping annoying commercials. It hasn't failed me yet! :)

I don't understand the VW spot either. I just can't picture kids infering all those connections about a car. Ahh, maybe its just me.

IMHO, the VW spot with the guy getting the bear in a headlock works much better.

This is coming from a guy who actually *bought a brand new 2000 Jetta* based 90% on the commercial where the guy tackles the shopping cart. :)

You know, that is my primary problem with the commercial too. If it had been teenages or a bunch of 20-30 somethings, it would make more sense.

Who knew commercials could generate so much debate? I personally don't like the MCds commercial, but you gotta gove them credit for at least showing California Screamin. They got one good shot of the loop. My only beef is the extended period of upside down near the end, but it is still ok.
