Dates of Origin

(Takes a big breath before starting first ever thread)

Afetr the interesting doings of the CedarPointNut tonight (which were not bad, per se, just interesting), I was wondering if there is a way to put a thread's date of origin on the main forum page. While by no means nessesary, this could be a nice convinience, and not only in the, err, extreme cases we just witnessed.

Please don't flame me if this is unnrealistic (whimpers).

I've seen the OLD threads brought back from the grave before, it doesn't SEEM to become a trend, lesson most likely has been delivered and received....
I just got a little bored, but yeah, I agree!

And Raptor too.

This kid is whipping up quite the reputation... (But I guess that's what he's going for, so I should stop feeding the troll.)

A date of origin wouldn't necessarily be bad, but I do personally see it as more "clutter-filling". I got confused enough on GTTP when Jeff added page views! I'm over that now, tho.

Are you talking about me whipping up a reputation?

Reserecting old threads with a three word response is annoying. IF you had something IMPORTANT to say, than it just might be okay to bring back a topic from the dead.

Use common sence and someone just might start takeing you seriously. You just might be a cool kid and we can't tell because you get off on bothering us.

and yes, I am talking to you, CPNut.

But seriously folks, I respect the opinions of yall who don't like the thing, but if MF were human, I'd marry it.

I won't do that again, considering I got banned for five days because of it.

You just resurrected the "Coasters that leave the track thread. There's a reason nobody is responding; it's ridiculous and it's over.

I didn't resurect it, I remembered how much interest I had in it and I wanted to further the discussion, without starting a new topic

Your resurrected it-- you had nothing to add to it; you just brought it back to the recent topics. If you have interest and nobody else does, the discussion will not be furthered.

I agree with you and JoNo, MillenniumRider...Besides, we should all know by now that CPNut is just that. He/She just wants attention...look at the info for the user...

It works out to over 3.5 posts per day..which in itself isn't that bad..but unfortunately the person is a troll and is not interested in conversation, just stirring up trouble and wanting everyone to talk about him or topics that he alone is interested in...

Wow, I've been here almost 2 years and CPNut has 50 more posts than me.
I don't think that's right. there's no way I can have that many posts. I joined in May and I was away for seven weeks during the summer.

Nah, it can't be. I bet Jeff just changed his post count because he has nothing better to do! ;)
