When I rode Mantis I thought it was great. Of course, I am used to Iron Wolf (which I find pretty smooth) so Mantis was an exceptional stand-up to me. I even thought Iron Wolf was smooth after coming back from a trip to SFMM and riding Riddler's Revenge (the best stand up in my opinion) 5 times.

Cedar Point 2003, and it begins...

IBsteve, try getting down to SFoG next year, it's THE stand-up that might impress you....it really has a short but sweet twisting layout without all the inversions that kill the stand-ups in terms of roughness.....RRv is still pretty smooth, but that won't last forever....

Unfortantely, won't have a chance to get to SFoG and ride Ga Scorcher until 2004 at the earliest. I've already got 2003 pretty much mapped out - the SE is penciled in for 2004.

I guess I'm just not a fan of riding standing up. I feel too restricted. Maybe that's why I'm apathetic about flyers in general, too. On the flip side, I'm a sucker for any ride that lets my feet dangle.
