CP needs woodie or steel looper?

This debate has come up often on the buzz, but has never been debated on it's own site. Which one do you think that CP NEEDS the most, not what you want to see...and explain why you think so...

There's nothing like a woodie...
I'm really curious to see what our CP lovers will say to this. Personally, CP needs a solid, wooden coaster. They only have 2.
On the other hand, (I almost can't make up my mind!!) a floorless would be great because CP has 3 coasters with inversions, one was built in 1976. (A total of 13 inversions in the park.)
Overall, a woodie, to me, is more of a need.

I don't care what CP builds next. Anything CP builds is the best(imho).
I'm not sure Cedar Point really "needs" anything, but I would suggest they give CCI a call and soon, before their price tag skyrockets!
A woodie would be good in my opinion, seeing that they have two and I hate one of em (This coaster shall remain nameless to protect it's character). Heck a new woddie sounds good unless of course they think they have to set some more records. Just a nice wooden coaster, no loops. Oh wait Im not a CP lover, I shouldnt have even posted this. Haha.

Oh one more thing, a solid wooden coaster sounds expensive. They should just have it built the way most woodies are.

Sadly, Villain is the only CCI I have been on, but if any of the others are even remotely like it, I order them built at every park in the nation! What a comeback for woodies!

Well, I think 2 B&M's are enough at CP. I used to think that CP needed a B&M floorless bad. Not now. BKF is a great ride but it is basically another sitdown looper. CP does not need a woodie with a loop. I say let us not forget about the original wooden coasters that were smooth had airtime and were fast. CCI has brought these back (like jeff said Villain). It really does not have to be extravagent basically a ride similar to villain but maybe a little longer. Remember height and speed (92MPH) is not everything to a coaster.

I would also like to see Cedar Point get another wooden coaster. Not necessarily a record setter, but just a nice woodie with airtime and PTC trains. :o)

Dear God, no PTC's please. The orange L-shaped lap bars absolutely suck, as do the seat dividers. The Gerstlauer trains on Villain are by far the best wood trains I've ever been in. I say we need more of those!

For twisters, I'm intrigued by GCI's Millennium Flyer trains, as installed on Hersheypark's new Lightning Racer.

Either way CP will really improve their park by adding a steel crazy looper(B&M or possibly a giona...you know give them a chance) or a Wooden coaster. But Ive heard it shouldnt be a record setter. I think it really would benefit them if it was. Think about what draws people to parks. Records! and the parks name in general. CP has got a great name for itslef in general but wouldnt it be nice for them to take back a peice of the record books on the steel and wooden side. DONT be thinking im one of those that is obsessed with records, but if someone who is CP regular just with there family every other year or so, and know CP as the best park becasue they build crazy fast tall roller coasters, and then they see a tiny(100-140 ft) CCI woodie they might lose faith in CP. Going from 310 to 120 in one year could be a little shady in some peoples minds. I dont know if you guys follow my train of thought hear but really wqhat im saying is if CP is to build a woodie people are expecting a follow up to MF.Think about how cool a giant woodie near the front of the park by the beach would be. Imagine pulling up to the parking lot and seeing it and raptor across the horizon with MF in the distance. I know they plan on a woodie within the next few years on the beach but from what i hear its gonna be a Cyclone clone. (i got no problems with that because its just not some ordinary small coaster).
I think they need a new wood coaster too. They have just two and twelve steel coasters. That would be cool if they built the longest coaster in the world.
CCI WOOD!!!!! I can't stress the need for one of these enough!!!!! The park is now surrounded by parks with great woodies...

Six Flags Ohio
Michigan's Adventure
PKI!!!

They need to put something in so people only have to go to pne park to get ALL of thier coaster fixes!!!
Well, a new steel sitdown looper wouldn't HURT, but what CP really "needs" is to do two things:

1) A CCI woodie, with the Gerstlauer trains.

2) Replace the Mean Streak trains with something that can track it correctly. Not sure how the Gertlauer's would do in this case, but they'd HAVE to be better than what's there now IMHO...

Wood is a definate move, and if they need another record breaker, why not try for "Longest Airtime On A Woodie"? I'd love to see those cool Millenium Flyers at the point, too.
I think that Cedar Point will get a Mad Mouse next year (maybe Arrowbatic). I really think they need both a Mega-Looper with new elements (top-hat, Sea Serpent...) a launch like Hulk would be nice. I also think they need a nice little airtime-filled twister on the beach, something like the old Cedar Point Cyclone.

Cedar Point needs a 310-foot... oh, nevermind.

How many participants of this thread have enjoyed (and I'm talkin' multiple rides) this year's new attraction? Can't we just bask in the glow of the Force for a little while?

CP needs to build another racing woodie. I just love those racing coasters.=)

Hoody Hooooo!!!!
I think CP needs to add another inverted coaster. The Raptor just doesnt cut it in the intensity level.
I might as well throw this one in. Isnt 14 coasters at 1 park enough? No other park has that luxury. I am sensing that people are getting spoiled around here.
Blasphemy!
