CP: is that a twist?

I'm surprised Cedar Point was able to pull off so much construction in one day! The workers must be exhausted.

Anyways, the ride is looking great, I really hope to get there this summer.

The park is closed. There is no way for any old joe to get in CP right now.

Red Garter Rob, if you're not going to post something useful and/or join in on the conversation, please shut up. I've seen a total of two posts from you ever, and both have been condescending and instigative. Stop.

Am I crazy, or is the track at the top of the tower now actually leaning back away from the tower? As in greater than 90 degrees. This is going to be one freaky scary ride. I hope they install porta-potties in the queue for all the people having a hard time controlling themselves.
Or maybe they'll be passing out free Depends.

ThemeDesigner: I think that you're just seeing the twist as it swings out to the side.

btw, now another layer is being added to the tower. Amazing.

Looks like it's being topped off now. Excellent.

Something in me says this thing is going to do some swirly business at the top... it just feels completely illogical to have this thing be topped off like Xcelerator. This sure looks very daring... what are they going to do with that 90+ incline. I think STE at SFMM will get worthy competition here...........
WHEN WILL THE NEXT ELEMENT ARRIVE

Ok, so it's blatantly obvious what it is. Now here comes the ultimate question... Do you think it will have OTSR's or lapbars? I'm totally against OTSR's for sitdowns, but would CP take the chance with lapbars???

Regarding pictures like this

I'd guess you're in luck.:
The trains of Xcelerator only sport lapbars as it seems. ...oh btw the above stars should read "************".... as in coa_sterforce without the _

I'm assuming thats a picture of one of Xcelerators trains.. Now with Xcelerator lapbars are fine, as I'm sure they will be (if used) on CP03. But with a 270degree twist, and the rumored drug-related hieght, do you really think that the park would use just a lapbar and a seatbelt? Especially after the incident on PP. After the PP incident, Millennium's seatbelts were drastically shortened, and PP recieved "evil" harnesses.

I'm totally praying to the Intamin gods that the lapbar/seatbelt combo is all... But man is that drop in the backseat is going to totally destroy!! Hell, the view in the front seat is going to be death! lol!
