CP: is that a twist?

Looking at the latest views from the cam it appears the launch track has a twisting piece now attached....it's hard to tell but I believe that's what I see.....

sure as hell, the track is now over the top of the tower, yesterday, the track was just up to 90 degrees, now theres a twist being added, wow, this things going to be awesome. I hope they start the other side this week, i really want to see if the vertical heartline is going to be there or not...

if you look, they have started the other side, each crane is working on its own side of the tower, the left side is just to vertical

yes, now that I noticed, there has been one piece of track added to both sides, as you can see what it looked like last night from this screenie:

Which direction is the track twisting?

And while mildly interesting, I don't think we need a new topic everytime a new piece of track is added.

If you're looking down the track is twisting clockwise. At least that's the impression I get. From the looks of the supports there will only be the heartline on one side of the tower.

Maybe it is twisting and maybe it isn't; but I'd like to know how anyone can tell what the track is doing from the blurry picture of those web cams and the distance from the construction site.

They are working fast - now the other side has twisting track attached above the tower.

I think it will twist 90 degrees on the way up and 270 degrees on the way down.

This is going to be insane. I am so glad that I live only an hour away :)

So is it twisting towards the tower or away from it (on the way up)?

Wow, another piece going up now.

DEK, we've had photos for a long time that show the position and angle of the jutting supports quite clearly. They indicate that the track twists to the left going up and twists to the right coming down. And now the track up there appears to confirm this.

How Tall is it?

We'll know when the park announces it...

Never Has Gravity Been So Uplifting.

Heres an obvious hint, looks like this rocket will travel up the side like Xcellerator (oppostie side though instead) then crest the top then drop a twisting 90 degress downward before hitting the brakes. Remember how people were so thrilled on the rear spike of Wicket Twister? Same idea here, but in sit down rocket trains.
