CP after 07 (No more Kinzel)

Well I'm not saying that what I stated was exactly what he said, but I saw it in print somewhere in one of the many interviews with him. If I remember correctly, it was one off the TTD articles. Unfortunately, I have no link. It's ok if you don't believe me, I don't expect you to.

I recall him indicating a fondness for such rides in a general sense, not with regards to any manufacturers.

CP's success has little to nothing to do with Dan Keller. Everything new since he started was on the drawing board prior to his return to the park.

But I thought "the best amusement park in the world" award was not just soley based on roller coasters. Certainly, coasters play a big part, but I thought having a clean, friendly, and a VERY well run operation that CP has had a lot to do with it as well. They seem to have retained that under Keller.

Like I said before, that may have more to do with the fact that Kinzel has such a large presence at CP.

One of the qualities that I'll miss the most about Kinzel is his honesty. The guy has no concept of spin (which I enjoy).
If Kinzel said that he wants Intamin to build a floorless coaster (which I don't ever remember hearing him say), then why is Dorney building a B&M ride in 2005?
That's not the only B&M CF:LP is having built! Just wait...
We know Silver bullet X Mas 04 and the invert @ WOF.
And MA will get the $18 mil B&M Hyper LOL.

opps we went to war with the wrong country. Iraq/ Iran, anyone could have made that mistake.

Well not necessarily WOF with the inverted (actually was thinking more of the point), but there are quite a few points pointing in WOF's favor that they will receive a large addition in 2005. 1)The Orient Express was not supposed to removed until the end of the 2004 season, however the ride had so much trouble during the 2003 season that the cost of keeping it around one more season was just not feasible (this is straight from maintenance). Anyhow, with the cost of removing the ride already on the 2003 fiscal year (as it was removed before the calendar turned) that is out of the way. 2)The park has not had a large capital expenditure season since 1998. True that they are getting $4mil for the 2004 season, but that is their normal cap.

It would be nice to see an inverted, but I think it would be more likely for them to add another sit down looper as the park is now without one (and no I don't count Keller's mistake "Boomerang).
