RSA, DBH is like a fine wine, just gets better with age....the "PIT's" (chris, nasai, etc.) tell me Coaster is ALL that. DBH, for the space it had to fit in, gives a LOT of ride in a small space, and always is a nice treat when we go to So Fla.....

Gator, if the new woodie is anything like Coaster, I will buy season passes for all my friends:) Coaster is indeed the unspoken hero of coasterdom, so my hope is for some sort of like-minded ride. I haven't yet ridden the DBH, but I bet it's something else. It looks so deceptive. Kind of like Cornball?

"Like Cornball" might be giving a bit too much credit....Cornball is SICK...:). But DBH, at night, after a rain, WILL make you "sit up and take notice". Wish someone would buy the first CW project and set it up somewhere...(I know, too mild for some). But that's what they said about the original Mr. Twister before modifications...;). When the band HITS the big-time, please consider relocating some wood....what became of PPP and the band? Either way, how's about playing after CAC....

All you have to do is make arrangements, Gator! Knoebels declined sadly, but I understand why. I had no idea there were so many campers, and I don't know about you, but I would be pretty angry myself if there was a band playing while I was in the process of recovering from a day at the park/drinking myself into oblivion, etc....;) Things are afoot though, and although not moving as quickly as I had originally prayed for, are moving forward with some reckless abandon. So........... give me a year, and we will know what happens with Coaster at PNE. If they want to burn her down, I will, hopefully, step in and buy the puppy up. Imagine Coaster in a field in the Snoqualmie valley 30 miles east of Seattle, with nothing around but cattle, goats, and sheep to keep her company. Can you imagine? Can you say Megafobia????:):)

Some call me............Titan!

Yes,'Gator, the Vancouver PNE Coaster is all that, and a bag of chips!I would recommend that you plan a trip to the Pacific Northwest in 2003 and ride this rare coaster treasure. After 2003,Coaster and the PNEs' future is uncertain.

I can fix anything.....where is the duct tape?

BUT, that layout photo of the Coasterworks woodie is eerily similar to what they presented to the area county commission.

Well if they were both submitting competting designs for that ride, it wouldn't be too out of place that their designs were similar...given that maybe the cleint had very specific demands or ideas what the ride would be like.

But who know's for real until they announce anything? (not anyone that would talk, that is...)

Yes, but would IAA keep it confirmed as a project if Coasterworks! didn't get the JOB?
