Could someone explain Six Flags Gold Fast Passes to me

Am I the only one who keeps more than one DL in their wallet?? My current one, and then my old-school expired one from high school and my previous expired one. In circumstances like these I hand over my expired one.

It has been a few years, but I'm pretty sure you have to surrender your old one in Ohio when you renew.

I have turned in my DL when renting the Q-bot 3 times. All three times I was able to use my season pass as ID, get season pass discounts, use my coupon book, and still pay by credit card.

My mother (1946-2009) once asked me why I go to Magic Mountain so much. I said I feel the most alive when I'm on a roller coaster.

Well it worked just at Gonch stated.

We did get a $10 discount because of our season pass. I also picked up a frequent user card. The supervisor said that this could be used at all SF parks, but this is tha same guy that assured me that American Eagle opened at 10:00 AM when in fact it didn't open till 11:00.

Didn't they publish a study saying Q-bots caused cancer?

- Warning: Pregnant women, the elderly, and children under 10 should avoid prolonged exposure to Q-bot.

- Caution: Q-bot may suddenly accelerate to dangerous speeds.

- Q-bot contains a liquid core, which, if exposed due to rupture, should not be touched, inhaled, or looked at.

- Do not use Q-bot on concrete.

- Discontinue use of Q-bot if any of the following occurs:

  • itching
  • vertigo
  • dizziness
  • tingling in extremities
  • loss of balance or coordination
  • slurred speech
  • temporary blindness
  • profuse sweating
  • heart palpitations

- If Q-bot begins to smoke, get away immediately. Seek shelter and cover head.

- Q-bot may stick to certain types of skin.

- When not in use, Q-bot should be returned to its special container and kept under refrigeration. Failure to do so relieves the makers of Q-bot of any and all liability.

- Ingredients of Q-bot include an unknown glowing green substance which fell to Earth, presumably from outer space.

- Do not taunt Q-bot.

- Q-bot comes with a lifetime warranty.

Happy Fun Q-Bot? ;)

Exactly. :)

Gonch, you left off the most common adverse event associated with Q-bots:

"Q-bots have been known to cause coaster enthusiasts to develop erections lasting more than four hours. If this occurs, seek immediate medical attention."

:)

Not to mention they are addicting. I know for a fact that we will have to get a GFP when we go to SFGAd next month.

I have not heard of the frequent user card before. Could you please tell me how it works?

How about discontinue use of Q-Bot as soon as you start believing that it really isn't line jumping? ;)

The frequent user card allows you to skip the training video and after getting 4 bots, you get the 5th free. I was told that you could use the same card at multiple parks to build up to your free one.

Thank you Dave. I will ask about that on my next visit. I would love to skip the training video. I have already bought 3 bots. I wonder if I could get credit for past purchases.

Edit: I just e-mailed SFMM and asked about this. In the past they have responded to my e-mails very quickly, so hopefully I will have an answer soon.

Gonch,

That was PRICELESS!!!!!!

BTW, why would I taunt a Q-Bot? It's never done anything to me.

That's nice because it essentially reduces the cost of the FlashPass by 20%.

It's not nice in that I can't imagine using the system that much unless you absolutely have to visit on weekends and holidays or otherwise busy days.

Well we are hitting the parks on the weekends and at several different parks.

Here is a scan of the card. I wonder if other parks use a different type of punch. I think you know where my evil mind is going.

It also doesn't say if it is good for Regular or Gold, so I would assume the Regular. If you saved your receipts, you may be able to get them to give up the gold but I doubt it.

Thanks again. Yes, I know it is a long shot, but I do still have the receipts. I will ask just in case.
