I've tried this two different ways. I wrote my Trip Report in Pages on my mac, then copy/pasted it to here. It formats weird, and doesn't past the entire text from each paragraph.
So I copy/pasted to Google Docs and the entire thing did paste over. So I tried to re-copy/paste from there to here, and again it just randomly cuts off large sections of each paragraph, and puts 2 paragraph breaks in between each paragraph. I don't have it happen anywhere else.
All I can really suggest is to paste it into a text-only thing first, then copy and paste it from that. Different tools and operating systems include markup that the editor I use (TinyMCE) doesn't understand, or the parser can't deal with.
Draft posts are on my roadmap, I just don't know when I'll get to it.

Ok. I think I have a simple text editor on Mac so I’ll do that. I used to use notepad but I never reanmy use windows any more. I wish there was an easier way to strip out the markup from pages itself because even when I post to Wordpress it includes junk I don’t want.
Speaking of zombie threads...
You're on a Mac, right?
BUILT-IN: Open your TextEdit document and hit ⇧⌘T to force your document to plain text. Works much better than Windows Notepad because it doesn't mess up line breaks the way Notepad still does.
DOWNLOAD: Get a copy of TextWrangler, or whatever version Bare Bones is offering these days (I think it's now the free version of BBEdit) and it will force the document to plain text.
