Coolest Sounding Coaster

Mr. Freeze, what a sound! I have been on other Premier launched rides, but Freeze stands out in my mind as having the coolest "roar."

I also like any wood coaster where a turnaround is directly over the station. Ghostrider, SC Giant Dipper and Kennywood's Racer come to mind. People alyways look around and comment on how "old & rickety" the ride is.

Mine would be California Screamin', with the music in the backround, it is the best sounding coaster in the West. Also Superman sounds cool except that it's so loud you can hear it anywhere in the park

The great roaring sound that Montu makes as it dives underground after the first vertical loop.

Standing below the Hulk and hearing the screams of the riders from inside the tube before it blasts out with a roar.

I absolutely love the way Legend roars through its first tunnel. The ground seems to shaking, people screaming, the sounds of an awesome coaster.

Revolution at SFMM and Legend in the first tunnel. I love the deep rumble.

Mean Streak, Millennium Force going by the station, Mantis drop, Magnum from Soak City, Wicked Twister, Raptor, power tower's compressed air sounds. Hmm anything from Cedar Point works...

Not a coaster, but any S&S tower that launches (Scream! at SFNE) the compressed air. That and the screaming screeching on the Coney Island Cyclone. That sound is just cool. It really lets you know its age.

mr freeze's roar is really cool...and on the lanuch, the coolest thing to hear (on or off waiting to get on) is the rapid succession of 'clicks,' which is the brakes releasing, and then the launch. very intense.

FoF, and of course...the compressed air of the PT-U/D!!!

I just love the sound that the Boomerang at Knotts makes right after it leaves the first lift. The sound that is kind of like a chain rattling. I also love the sound that The Great American Scream Machine at SFGadv makes as it goes up the lift hill. That clickity clack sound is great!

I like the sound of Revolution at SFMM as it "whispers" throught the dense hillside. At nighttime its like the sound comes from nowhere especially in the helix!

How about the peel out in the beginning of RnR coaster at MGM(cool sound effect)!

I love the sounds on the B&M inverteds specialy The Raptor at Cedar Point. Now for woodies, love the sounds on Mean Streak, Raven & Legend.

I like the sound of Carolina Cyclone's (Arrow looper) and Carolina Goldrusher's (Arrow mine train) lift hills, and all the sounds of a wooden coaster. At Top Gun: The Jet Coaster @ PC, when coming through the south gate as a guest, I used to love to hear that siren followed by the sound of the train going up the lift followed by the loud B&M roar. And while I'm thinking about it, does any other B&M inverted have that siren that goes off when the train leaves the station? I didn't notice one on B:TR at SFOG. Oh, and I also like the sound of SFOG's Mindbender, the loops, and just the sound of the train on the track.

Kudos to the Schwarzkopf fans......and to the loud Beemers. Still hoping someday to see SFoG'ds Viper thread S:UF's pretzel loop....I know, you all are saying "that's what photoshop is for"....but you can't RIDE it in photoshop....

But really, the "coolest" sounding coasters have GOT to be Chilller and Mr. Freeze, no?
