I contributed my site to Coasterbuzz a little over a week ago, and I still haven't seen it in the database yet. I'm just wondering, how long does it usually take for you guys to review it?
I looked at yours and saw broken images, a screwed up Java applet and a frameset that doesn't look right in any browser. Why would I want to send anyone to that?
You don't see it because I deleted the submission. Several times.

EDIT: Running it in a different resolution won't solve your broken image and/or applet trouble. Besides, I thought sites on the coasterBuzz database were sites full of rich content and good design. I don't see either at thepointofcedars.tk. :) *** Edited 12/29/2004 3:46:13 AM UTC by MarimbaGuy87***

There are a few other cosmetic adjustments that should be made. There are such things as Cascading Style Sheets to make your site consistent looking. If you're going to have changing information at least use some sort of a database to hit up against.
I understand that its just an ametuer page, but if you want get your site noticed, you need to make it easy to use and attractive to the user.
Hopefully that'll help as to why Jeff has deleted your submission because it is just not up to standards on what a page providing information should be. Take this all for what its worth, I only mean this to be constructive.

Also, MarimbaGuy, it's .com now, not .tk.
That strongbad clip is great! I completely forgot about those. It's just as good as the 'forum rules' one posted a while back.
What can I say?
- A laptop could board Riptide, vomit HTML on the sidewalk and it would still look better.
- A team of 1000 monkeys on keyboards would simultaneously stop banging on them just to beat the hell out of the chimp that coded that page.
- Too weak for ARN&R, let alone the 4th grade?
I'm still shaking my head. Wow.

NOTE: Severe fecal impaction may render the above words highly debatable.
Give the Guy credit for trying. His site is not yet at the level that Jeff would list it, But that does not mean we should rip it, or "Top Thrill Dragster" apart.
Top Thrill Dragster,
While I admire your ambition to design/Program your website. I would caution you about using the phrase, "The Point of Cedars is the internet's greatest source for Cedar Point information." I am sure many people would take issue with that because, frankly, your website is not yet what you claim it to be now. Perhaps, if you stick with this project, it will be one day though.
And since Peabody did not reference it, I will. Almost every person I know who has some knowledge of web Design knows that Arbys.com is the worst designed corporate restaurant site on the web.
