Contribute Problem

Jeff,

I have no idea what's up but my site isn't in the drop-down when I go to contribute news. Is there anyway you could add it back? The site is SFNE Central. Thanks.

Because I do it when I feel like it, not when people complain.

SFNE: I can associate the news with your site, just submit it as normal. If I see your email as being from sfne.com I'll know.

I'm having a problem contributing news, also. How is one supposed to include a link to a news article? I pasted a link in the 'Main text' field, but I received an error due to the '/' character being present. I submitted the article anyway, but there's no link, so I have doubts that it will be approved. Any help would be appreciated, so I can avoid this issue in the future.

"/" characters do not cause errors. It's probably that you're title or description is too long, since I've not gotten around to limiting it.

Well, I just tried to re-submit the same article with a (much) shortened title, and any time I include a link I receive the same error. Forgive the length, but here's the error I receive:

Server Error in '/' Application.

Yep... the title or summary is probably too long.
