Contacting Geauga Lake

BigKirby,

Do you happen to know why the park chose to close the Pirates 4d movie, or what happened to the KillerBees and Starfish rides? I'm glad the waterpark will be open longer and later in the year, especially during the strange heatwave we've been getting in September the past few years. Also, will the ex-animal side be open for parking for patrons?..because I remember the park back in 2000 when it ran out of parking on the North side, and had to find temporary parking.

Why would he know? Heck, even the park itself doesn't likely know all of the finer details of what will go on this year.

Chances are that the Pirates movie was a licensed affair. Just because you own a theater, for example, doesn't mean you can show anything you want.

Employee parking has not been decided. There is an orientation Saturday if you signed up for it, or next Saturday as well and we should know much more from that. It will probably the north side (gravel lot next to guest lot) but lets hope not if you have a nice car. If you didn't sign up, you should call HR (ext 2700 I think).

I am unaware of rides or movies, all I have is an irresponsible best guess that they will be closed :)

The South gate will be maintained but is closed for this season. The North ride gate is the only one that will be open.

Does their theater have the 3D projection equipment?
I wonder if they can secure the rights for SpongeBob as they did in MN...

NOTE: Severe fecal impaction may render the above words highly debatable.

The Pirate movie was 4-d. So they have 3-D projection equipment.

I think he means "do they /still/ have the equipment?"
